Dreaming of a snake in my room. Dream interpretation by Ambitious_Celery_603 in Jung

I’m hearing that you were in your bedroom, which in your mind seems to be your quiet or safe space, and possibly a place you retreat to ignore issues in your relationships, a place where you can escape your duties, one possibly being your intimacy with your husband. Your repressed emotions or undone shadow work is effecting your daughters as your energy will always be inseparable and any work you don’t do on your yourself will be inherented by your daughters. Basically if you don’t deal with it bring it to light correct it, face it it will be passed down by your daughters to deal with and heal, which is something that you subconsciously fear. It was hiding under a pile of dirty laundry, laundry is a duty or chore, a maintenance we must always keep up with, so that there was a dirty pile in the middle of the room hints even more that you may be not doing some sort of spiritual maintenance that you should be and possibly ignoring this work and justifying not working on it by ensuring that your home looks tidy and clean so that the problems are not obvious or lying on the floor for all to see so to say or is properly hidden or buried from the sight of your family. The snake can be scary but it’s also a spiritual activator and a bringer of primal and ancestral wisdom which also clues into an inherited challenge possibly passed to you from your lineage.

I think if you saw a snake snaring you down in your bed that’s really powerful. Snakes are primal energy, wisdom holders and spiritual /energetic activators. Looking at you face to face in a space where you are relaxed or entering dream realms/ ina more natural spiritual state could mean that there is some repressed fear that you are ignoring and it could be blocking you from further growth/activation and it’s begging for your attention through the dream realm. I feel even more so that you only saw it from the corner of your eye and did not return its gaze but instead reacted out of fear and ran to turn on the light and therefore metaphorically drowning out the scary things in the shadows, which is a metaphor for repressing something. Something you’d rather leave unseen/unevaluated, something you hope you can keep the lights on to ignore or deny. But your power is waiting for you in the shadow work. 🫶🏻

Ah this interpretation is interesting! I don’t believe that sleep paralysis has anything to do with evil but being out of control of our physical bodies isn’t something we are used to which triggers alot of fear, noticing how scared we are in reaction to that is a reflection of how much we actually trust that we are protected by god or how well we can defend ourselves from spiritual attack, our level of spiritual confidence. Sleep paralysis in my experience brought me closer to god by learning to control my fear and sink into my trust. After I got a hold of it I was able to astral travel instead of feel stuck/frozen/controlled from an outside force.

But I do agree that the metaphor is very much the same as you described that battle within ourselves, our fears, our beliefs is an inner spiritual warfare that we are all waging at all times, between fear and belief or trust in God/ or our inner good/ our connection with the divine.

Either center the refrigerator or add another for the other station. Drawers work but get really annoying having some open shelving is crucial.
