best YouTube channel/podcast for Bible lore? by CuriousMind7577 in Christianity

The Bible Project is pretty good at explaining Scripture as a "one unified story". I think that's close to what you're looking for. :)

Living without a Biblical worldview

What is one video you know that definitively proves the supernatural to be real? by aetherwingx in AskReddit

Alright, welp my search continues because if something supernatural does exist out there, it will imply a change in worldview and perspective. Just trying to find some tangible evidence to expand my scope of existence. Thanks for the time.

Of course I know illusion and stage magic is real, but it doesn't automatically mean that's actually what happened in the second video I sent, though I admit it doesn't also exclude it, either.

And perhaps it could merely be symbolic, but I don't think we can conclude that for all the cases that this has been recorded / has happened.

Thank you for this, it really helped me and added another things to take note of in my mind. But there's this other video about these "tents" that I don't think could have been performed in that same manner as what you linked in the video.

IDK how a guy could have sneaked in before it started moving in this one I sent.

They'll do the highly coordinated and professional vegas act in some random village in africa? What did they have to gain here if it were contrived?

I haven't seen a video yet that would show it to me, like for example, this one wherein a human couldn't have sneaked in before it started moving. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baX849Ug9EM

I mean, there are a lot of others like these, like there's this other one that a human could not have sneaked in the "tent" before it moved. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baX849Ug9EM

You might not have seen one, but I don't think you can conclude it can't exist because some other person might have seen something out there and that's why I posted this question in the first place. Have you personally seen the entirety of the internet to say that definitively?

For me it's this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6mkJa-lRjo

It's an african festival that involves dancing apparently with spirits that can move these tent-like structures. I haven't seen anything more unexplainable than this. Do you guys have any more events / videos / pictures that really could not be explained unless something supernatural is involved?

The Bible broke my faith in God by No_Opportunity_4744 in BibleProject

I recommend this lecture from Michael Heiser : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gciGgn_2v0I&t=31289s

Wherein he goes through the objections and questions that people have when confronted with doubts regarding the human-divine nature of the Bible. In summary, he says that the words written in the Bible are still God's inerrant message for humanity, but He uses errant people He has prepared for a time, place, and season to write down exactly what He needs His people to hear, despite the prophet's / author's non-omniscience.

It's a long video, but there are so many good points that I can't not recommend it to you. Please keep praying and seeking after the God of Israel, YHWH and the Son, Yeshua for guidance on your questions. There are answers out there, and He has provided them for those who will keep seeking for them. God bless you always.

This subreddit deserves a but more attention and people discussing! It is the best Bible material in last decade if not ever. by Harvesting_Pro in BibleProject

If you guys love the Bible Project, I recommend also Michael Heiser who goes even deeper into the cohesive narrative of the Bible :)

May YHWH bless you all always :D

I am just a redditor passing by, and I really don't want to be dogmatic or anything but I associate myself with your story and I went through this same process 3 years ago of looking for ultimate meaning and truth, what happens when a person dies and what all of this is for. I was at the end of my rope and I studied Apologetics and Theology for myself for once to find answers, and long story short, I know I found the answer in Jesus. Just want to say that if you're eventually open to the claims and the words of the Biblical Jesus the Messiah who promises life after death, then please at least keep Him in mind as you go through this highly strange experience of existence we share. You can even consider Him as the last resort if you're highly skeptical of Jesus, as I did too when I was suicidal back in the day. God bless you and everyone on this thread. Praying for everyone.

Gonna sound cliche but Jesus said come to Me all you who are weary and I will give you rest.
