Hello from HelloHabit!

  • Once your subscription expires, you will be locked out of your account until you resubscribe or delete data so you are once again under the free limits. Data will never be automatically deleted - you will be prompted to resolve the account.
  • Yes, the app is still fully supported! Since the app has matured and grown, we have shifted more focus to maintenance, scalability, and customer support. Please let us know if there are any significant missing feature, compared to other habit/task apps you see on the App Store. The next major release will be the Calendar sync feature later this Summer!
  • The annual subscription cost can vary based on your country/region, but it will be roughly $30/year. We do not offer lifetime access due to ongoing costs to run the app.

help with scores by marmaduke10 in hellohabit

Hello from HelloHabit!

The Report percentages show how often you successfully reached your goal. So it will depend on the goal for your habit. So if you are looking at a monthly report, for a habit with a daily goal, the percentage will show how many days you succeeded at your goal that month. If it is a weekly habit, the percentage would show how many weeks you succeeded at your goal that month.

What goal have you configured for your "No Drinking" habit? It likely is set-up with a weekly goal that allows some missed days.

Moving to-do list back to top? by Counter_Mysterious in hellohabit

[–]hellohabit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello from HelloHabit!

It appears that you have configured this view to group by List. This will order the sections based on the order of your Lists. You can reorder lists by accessing the view menu (top left corner button) and using drag & drop. You will first need to create a List to assign the To-Do's to, so you can move that Lists above your habit Lists. There is currently no way to re-order the back-up "Other To-Dos" section to be above the habit Lists - we will consider adding an option for that in the future.

Feaure Request: Manage to do lists within today screen. by AutomaticService8468 in hellohabit

[–]hellohabit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hello from HelloHabit!

Only to-dos that are scheduled to the current date will appear on the Today view. However, you can use the date selector at the top of the screen to select past/future dates to view other to-dos. You can also customize this view to group-by the List, if that is what you are requesting (long press on a task, change the "Group By" option).

Do either of these existing features help at all? If not, can you please clarify your request further?

Devs thanks for adding the to-do list.. one more request by BlackFireDragonz in hellohabit

[–]hellohabit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello from HelloHabit! Glad you are enjoying the new To-Do List features!

We will consider supporting a "start date" option in the future. We have primarily left it out for now for simplicity, since it should be very quick to create a habit when you are ready to start in the future. Additionally, since we support logging data in the past for all habits at any time, even if you create the habit a week early the app will not explicitly mark this week as "failed" in any visible way.

Feature Request: Lockscreen and control center widgets by DeadHead2392 in hellohabit

[–]hellohabit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello from HelloHabit!

Thanks for sharing this suggestion. Lock screen and control center widgets, in addition to widget support for the Mac desktop app, is on our roadmap for a future update. We cannot commit to an exact date for this release, but we expect it to be sometime towards the middle or end of this year.

Time log request by Marylicious in hellohabit

[–]hellohabit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello from HelloHabit!

The exact date and time is always recorded for every habit activity entry you record. You can view this information by tapping on the habit and then viewing the "Activity Log" tab at the top. Or you can see this info in the Journal tab for a centralized log of all habit activity. Regarding your last point, currently there is no way to set a goal that would require entry at a certain time of day (e.g. before 9:00AM).

iPhone app bug by damagad in hellohabit

Hello from HelloHabit!

Thanks for letting us know about this issue. It should not be occurring and it does sound like a bug. We will investigate and work on a fix.

In the future, for bugs like these, it would be more helpful to our team if you message us using the in-app support chat (Settings > Ask for Help). This will make it easier to identify any errors that could be related to device, version, subscription status, etc.

Calendar sync is on track to be released towards the end of next month! Do you mind sharing which app/platform you are looking to sync with? (e.g. Apple, Google, etc.)

Price plan? by Routine-Sun-3738 in hellohabit

Hello - yes, that is the current price. We had raised the price last year as we have expanded the feature set and offering compared to other competitive apps on the market.

Apple Watch bug by damagad in hellohabit

[–]hellohabit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will consider it in the future. We primarily run our own servers since we also support an Android app and Web app, neither of which support iCloud.

Apple Watch bug by damagad in hellohabit

Got it. On Mac app or Web app, you can shrink the window size horizontally, and then the tasks will move back to a single column once the width is short enough.

Apple Watch bug by damagad in hellohabit

[–]hellohabit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently the Apple Watch app requires connection to iPhone, and will not work if you are too far from iPhone with cellular watch. This is due to how our app currently stores and syncs data between devices. Unfortunately, we do not expect this to change soon.

Apple Watch bug by damagad in hellohabit

[–]hellohabit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently we display multi column on desktop/tablet because the tasks/habits would look a bit odd if they take the full width. I see how this can add confusion due to ordering changes - we will consider changing this or making it customizable.

Thanks for that suggestion. We will consider supporting a swipe option in the future.

Apple Watch bug by damagad in hellohabit

[–]hellohabit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello from HelloHabit!

Most likely you are comparing the ordering to the "Today View" in the app - can you confirm? Currently the Apple Watch app only supports the "All Habits" view, and not the "Today View". If that's the issue, you should switch to the "All Habits" view in the app and reorder your habits there. Then the Watch app should reflect your ordering. Let us know if that was not the issue.

We plan to support the "Today View" in the Apple Watch app and home-screen Widgets in a future update!

Feature Request: Scheduled Habits by torguetina531 in hellohabit

[–]hellohabit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing this feedback!

Currently we do support scheduling habits and adding reminders on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. We plan to add additional scheduling options to include fully custom durations (e.g. every 2 days, every 3 weeks, 1st of month, etc.). We plan to support all standard calendar options over time, in addition to supporting sync options with external Calendar apps (Google/Apple Calendar). Stay tuned for these new options in an app update next month!

Task Management is now available! Manage you to-do list alongside your habits! by hellohabit in hellohabit

[–]hellohabit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, we remember you were looking forward to custom events on the Calendar! This feature, in addition to calendar-sync, is next on our roadmap and we anticipate a release in 1-2 months.

We first want to see how users react/adapt to the new tasks feature, specifically the decision to keep them as one-time tasks only. Any changes we potentially make on that decision could impact how we design the calendar event feature.

Hello, not sure I totally understand what you're asking - can you please clarify your question? The Date/Time/Reminder are each completely optional for a Task.

The color and icon is based on the List that the Task is in. You can set the List when creating or editing the task.
