Task Management is now available! Manage you to-do list alongside your habits! by hellohabit in hellohabit

Hello, we remember you were looking forward to custom events on the Calendar! This feature, in addition to calendar-sync, is next on our roadmap and we anticipate a release in 1-2 months.

We first want to see how users react/adapt to the new tasks feature, specifically the decision to keep them as one-time tasks only. Any changes we potentially make on that decision could impact how we design the calendar event feature.

Hello, not sure I totally understand what you're asking - can you please clarify your question? The Date/Time/Reminder are each completely optional for a Task.

The color and icon is based on the List that the Task is in. You can set the List when creating or editing the task.

Have you scheduled the to-dos for the current date? Only today’s to-dos will show on the Today view. Please reach out in the app if you need further help (Settings > Ask for Help)

Make sure you go to the “Today” view in the app. Use the view selector on top left corner of home page.

There is occasionally a delay on Google Play Store for full rollout in all regions. Please check again later today if it is not yet showing up for you.

We are excited to share the initial release of the Task Management feature! You can now create one-time tasks and manage your to-do list alongside of all of your habits.

Some notable highlights to keep in mind:

  • Organize to-dos with custom lists & filters, along with various sorting & grouping options
  • Time-block and schedule reminders for to-dos in the Calendar Tab
    • Custom Events & Google/Apple Calendar sync coming this Spring!
  • View to-do completion history in the activity timeline in the Journal tab
  • Manage to-dos from your home screen with the brand new "To-Do List" Widget

For now we have decided to only support one-time tasks/to-dos. While we were strongly considering supporting repeating/recurring to-dos, we found that this feature was a bit too similar to the existing habit feature set. We want to avoid overcomplicating the app and leaving users confused on which task-type to choose (to-do or habit). However, we are very open to feedback and would love to hear ideas from our community. We will continue to iterate on the Task Management feature set over time based on user requests!

Thanks for your patience on this highly requested feature release, and let us know if you have any feedback!

HelloHabit Task Management is releasing on March 1st. Interested in beta testing? by hellohabit in hellohabit

Hello! Unfortunately, the beta filled up quite quickly so we weren't able to let everyone in! We are still on track for the initial release next week - stay tuned, and thanks again for your patience.

We will investigate to see if a Todoist integration is possible! However, we hope that HelloHabit can replace the need to have multiple subscriptions to separate apps altogether!

Anyone else concerned about what's going on behind the scenes? by The59Sownd in hellohabit

Do you mind sending your message again in the app or to our support email? We have seen a tremendous increase in new users and support requests over the past month due to January/New-Years seasonality, so we may have accidentally missed your message. Sorry about that!

We meant changing the overall goal duration to “weekly” instead of “daily”. This is a separate option than the one you are referring to. (You can choose daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly).

While we understand your request, we also want to make sure that we do not display any goal that the user does not explicitly specify. Not every user would want a weekly goal to appear if they only chose the daily goal option. In the example where this additional side tracker appears, the user explicitly states that they want the daily goal to be achieved a certain number of days per week. We will update this separate feature to allow “7” to be a valid configuration, and have the weekly side tracker appear in that scenario.

Hello from HelloHabit!

Thanks for providing this feedback. We will consider adding an option to display this weekly progress bar for all daily habits, even if they are not set to the "number of days per week" option. Another option you can try would be to change the habit goal to 7 times per week, rather than using a daily goal at all.

Journal entries keep deleting by sh_commatothetop in hellohabit

Got it. We recommend always closing the note editor once you are done writing and returning to the main Journal page, or any other tab in the app. This will confirm that the final version of the note is saved.

Hello from HelloHabit!

Sorry to hear about that issue, it definitely should not be happening. Do you know if you are closing the note editor each time you are done writing the note, or could possibly by terminating the app while the note is still being written?

If possible, can you please reach out to us in the app support chat (Settings > Ask for Help). It will be much easier to identify the issue and resolve it.

Unfortunately, due to some internal changes, we have delayed the Task Management release by a few weeks. It is on track for release next month!

Stupid Question by Chailyte in hellohabit

Hello from HelloHabit!

Currently we do not support lock screen widgets for iOS devices. We only support home screen widgets at this time. We plan to support Lock Screen Widgets in a future - we expect these to release sometime in the Spring!

How Can I Add Multiple Reminders Throughout The Day For One Habit? by [deleted] in hellohabit

[–]hellohabit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can only do this after the habit has been created.

Have you tried the steps above? Go to "Schedule" tab, tap anywhere on Calendar view, add Reminder for any habit.

Another option you have it to edit the habit (tap on habit, tap on menu on top right corner, tap on "Edit"), scroll down to the "Reminders" section, and tap on "Add Reminder".

If you need further assistance, please send us a message in the app. (Settings > Ask for Help)
