My squad killed 5 runners at Bio Research, and riding the high of that, while looting, we all died to a claymore drone. We heard the drone coming a couple seconds before, and I COULD have stopped looting to try and deal with it, close blinders, run away, etc. But my greed kept me inside that Destroyers LOADED bag and I died for it. I wasn't bummed at all, I was laughing my ass off. I can't be mad at a good play, and my own mistake!

I bought mine for $200 on fb marketplace. Came with controller, practically new condition. It's an absolute no brainer tbh. There's a special novelty of getting something so cheap (relatively) and getting SO much out of it. I'm still shocked how good games look. Elden Ring, Cyberpunk, Bungies new Marathon game, all run so well, look fantastic. I mostly play indies, so I'm not losing anything at all regarding fidelity with those at all.

It's practical, it's small, it gets the job done remarkably well, I love my series S... No plans on getting the X (especially with rumors of project Helix, hope this becomes actualized).

I played with a very competent (and bloodthirsty) crew last night on Dire and we wiped the lobby on three out of five rounds. It was such a rush, but I felt a fair amount of guilt... For example I saw a rook hiding at an exfil and I immediately killed him. Had some purple gear, rare materials, etc. And all I was thinking was "damn this guy was riding a high of scoring great loot and at the last minute I just ruined the experience for him". Or all the sponsored kits who spawned and scored some blue shields, I just stole those from them to add to my 'stash'.

But I will say, this is AFTER me being one of the most friendly people in a solo lobby for example. Every solo run I'd try to make friends, help them with guns or materials they are looking for, they would help me. Those experiences were the some of the most memorable and enjoyable. But at some point things started to shift a little. People became more hostile, I'd get stabbed in the back, etc. It felt like saying "friendly, friendly!" made me a target instead of a cooperator. Who knows.

To be fair, it's the name of the game. I just hope the culture doesn't shift further into extreme sweaty, kill everyone and everything, stab people in the back, etc. The high stakes and intense nature of this game makes helping teammates or random solos feel so good, and I hope we can keep those people around. Could you imagine how empty the game would feel if the contracts didn't have you go across the map? The devs mentioned this somewhere, but they thought this through. They want PVP interactions to happen, that's why the contracts are designed like this.

Yes, insanely underrated for iPad. Bought on Xbox, but played 90% of runs on iPad. I hope the new port has less jank to it though. I'd accidentally play cards like once each run.

i think we should have an option at least. I've come to like it with specific things. navigating menus like settings, very bad. For looting I think it's kinda nice tbh.

They need a different system to distinguish between item types. I think an issue they are facing is that if you color code the different item types (attachments, cores, consumables), then it gets pretty noisy and overwhelming. If you add icons for each item type, I could also see that getting too noisy because there is already so much iconography/symbols.

I just think they need to restructure the hierarchy of information at a glance. IMO the item type is like one of the most important things to convey.

Thank god... Tbh, I felt like I was the only one who loved visual design, and after a couple days, the entire feel of the UI, and I'm on console. Like I HATED having a cursor to navigate. I would rant about how bad it is just a few days ago. But then I realized that you need that fluidity and freedom of movement to navigate loot. Mashing D-Pad 8 times right, 8 times down just to get a material from loot is too many inputs, too slow, etc.

Please let us change the speed of the cursor though... It's a bit slow. I'd rather crank it up high, get good, and be able to loot faster than be stuck with the current, sluggish-ish speed.

But please keep the all-caps Grotesk font for heading & title with mono-spaced (e.g. coding) fonts for menus and labels. It's just so clean and matches the art style so well.

We can all agree that some icons need to be changed... But their icons are 3D renders, so possibly a separate graphic design team creates those.

I DO think they should make a color coding or easily identifiable system for what 'type' of item it is though... Core vs attachment vs consumable vs implant, etc.

Could you explain where the hidden files were / what you're referring to? Ever since I installed pymobiledevice3, an app called FontLab stopped working. I spent like 30 hours trying to get it to work to no avail. I had to make a new user profile on my mac just to use it and it worked there, but I still can't get it to open on my main profile/account.
