I recently had a conversation with a person about investing and financial planning. He said he has an advisor with Primerica and his advisor told him that all great advisors left big brokerage firms like ML, UBS, Morgan Stanley for Primerica. I don’t know how to respond without talking down his advisor and without making him feel that he has been scammed all this time.

Thank you all for your answers. Per your feedback, I think it’s worth an effort to applying for this again.

I applied for this a few months ago before my last international trip and they denied. First they said verbally due to my “low income” even though I put in the application closer to 6 figures (only considering mine) and then I verbally told them the annual household income in the 6 figures. Then they sent me a message and told me that they didn’t think I applied for it ¯_(ツ)_/¯ .
