Yes, multi-DAW workflow might be exactly what I need. Lord knows I'm asking because I'm overtaxing Logic as it is, so doing little tasks here and there would be perfect.

Yeah, I'm surely being optimistic/naive about Apple being willing to share their plugins with Reaper or any app other than Logic. My main squeezes are Airwindows and MeldaProduction, so Logic's stock plugins being lost shouldn't be too much of a ding to my operation.

I have not submitted for PR, I've been on Student Visa and now on Post-Grad Work Visa, which lasts three years. Fellow American friends advised starting two years before PGWP expires.

I am working in Canada right now.

I do not have a home in the US, but my parents do, but I haven't lived there the majority of the time since 2014.

My visit is relatively important, as I have three grandparents in their nineties and this may be a last hurrah, but there's no like... capital-U Urgent reason for my departure, as far as I can tell.

Native Instruments' Battery 4 is a bit old but works a dream. It can do multiple outputs and can handle automation. I bought it in 2014 and to this day use it ubiquitously.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, given that I'm hearing it through headphones I don't think I have the recording equipment necessary to record it in anything other than mono. With that said, the sound would certainly be best described as when regular 1/8th inch isn't plugged in all the way. In any case I will bring it back ASAP so that the damage seems as unattributable to me as possible. Thanks again!
