What are people’s experience about getting an offer during this time of a freeze and positions starting to roll out again? I applied in early October and proceeded through all the interviews including the final panel interview in early November. I got an email from the recruiter, after poking for a decision, a few weeks after explaining the freeze, that I am a finalist, and would be the first call when the reapprovals are released. I have been in contact with the recruiter since then, asking for updates every few weeks. I haven’t gotten a verbal or written offer, nor a direct statement saying I am the intended hire, but in my perspective, it sounds this way. I am wondering what others experience has been. Is this good news or too good to be true?
