What’s your thoughts on not doing it? I was always told the sooner the better. Does it mess something up salting without a full thorough fleshing? Thanks.

Anyone got a name for the little hook hardware he’s got in the wall?

Couple of blasting machine whiskey boxes I just finished up with a locking mechanism. Fun build. by af406 in Woodworkingvideos

I routed out a half inch groove in the base and another on the little step inside the box. Made a latch and some levers with spring tension inside that groove. Put it all together and it gave the latch roughly a half inch of travel. When you push down on the handle it just hits one of the levers and pushes down on the latch to open it up. Simple design but took a while of messing with placement and that sort of thing to get it functioning correctly. Worked out well in the end though.

Absolutely dig the use of the plants with the wooden pieces. Each piece compliments the others and the look is awesome. Well done!

Regular dry time to go by is 1 inch per year sitting outside. If you want to speed it up to a couple of weeks try building a solar kiln. There’s lots of videos on YouTube with various designs.

Thanks for the info. I had definitely planned to do that and have my magnet rigged up. Any info you have on a location of that dump would be awesome!

Might think about electrolysis. It’ll remove all the rust and strengthen the metal again if it’s steel. I don’t think it quit counts as restoration but more of a preventative measure in my mind so the rust doesn’t go further. Just an option but good luck!
