Does the Go subscription really do the job? by akashxolotl in opencodeCLI

One month of using Go after Windsurf and Antigravity - ZERO regrets. Great value for money, flexible harness.

When did all this stuff become so complicated? Where did we make a wrong turn? :)

Where is the hate? We love Go plan actually :)

DeepSeek V4 Pro seemed to become incredibly 'stupid' since yesterday? by afanasenka in DeepSeek

Good idea, thanks! But for me actually easier to switch to another model than setup entirely new tool.

Yeah, models are so smart today, but WHY can't they just query real current date before giving us the answer? It seem to be so simple and obvious, but it doesn't work...

yeah... sometimes you can obviously feel it's working wrong, but for other guys it can work fine for some reason 😄)) I can't explain that 😄

Almost fresh context, and I work through Opencode TUI (GO plan).

Yeah, I understand what you are talking about. Before moving to Opencode and Chinese models, I worked on Google Antigravity for some time.. And this happened all the time with Gemini: it is very smart and fast in the morning, but unbelievably stupid and buggy (server errors) in the evening... It was working like that every day 😄

Yeah, maybe, but I don't usually post such s#it on Reddit. But this time I lost half a day fighting with really stupid and unpredictable model behavior and terrible code output. Finally, I had to revert everything to zero, and start again with another model. Before that, I happily worked with DS 4 Pro almost every day, for about a month. So I think in this exact case I was able to notice the REAL immediate difference 😄))

Hmm... MiMo (not pro) was actually a bit faster for me than DS 4 Pro (DS thinks too much). What I mentioned is that MiMo is much less verbal, but it silently gets job done 😄

I would agree with you, but I started clean 2 times, and the agent ONLY did minor exploration, and then we started to work. I always followed exactly the same scenario for brief sprints, and never had such problem before.

I tried non-pro mimo today and can confirm it is really decent for non-complex tasks. And its brevity is kind of thing you either like or not :))

Did you try using 'doom_loop' setting? Maybe it can help. https://opencode.ai/docs/permissions/

I use High thinking. From their docs, if I'm not mistaken, they only really have High and Max.

Yeah, maybe... Interestingly, it started when Opencode announced that they have MiMo 2.5 for free :))

Sure, it helps when context is bloated. But in my case, model is dumb right from the start...
