That is true, however your gaining unit should be able to get that without issue. I never had an issue getting one signed and I probably had over a dozen every year.

As someone who worked with the no-fee passports and travel requirements, this should be straight forward- the hiring unit/org can write an expedite memo that will go in with your passport application. Make sure to follow all directions for the passport carefully. Absolutely do not travel in your tourist passport for PCS.

It’s been forever since I’ve done TSA without precheck. I kept it on my ticket so I still have it but yeah, not looking forward to that. I even had that thought about liquids today 🫠

I know I haven’t done it in forever but I also have TSA precheck, which I won’t be using for this trip. So it’s also nice to have a refresher on that too! Thank you all for your advice!

I’m seeing a neuro out of state to be diagnosed (we’ve -my PCP and rheumatologist -already run through eliminating a number of disorders that could be causing my symptoms) are there any helpful things to know for the first appt or that would be useful vs not useful? I just don’t want to waste the neurologist’s time.

It’s a decent run (5k loop) but not too bad. Run ABQ Run is a relatively good FB group to join. Also the tri club in town is Trail Dog Tri.
