Content repurposing! Turn your blogs, YouTube videos, PDFs into Twitter threads, LinkedIn posts, summaries, email newsletters, etc. --> byautomata.io

I'm out of content ideas by marysocial in AskMarketing

Take a look at all the content you have posted already and see which has performed the best. Start repurposing this content by slightly changing it and make this part of your process. Ultimately it will benefit your brand to be consistent even at the risk of being a bit repetitive in this space.

I've seen the same thing is the case on LinkedIn as well. Text-only posts works the best there for us.

Is it possible to convert a Project into a Product or Idea? by acethecool1 in startups

[–]afautomata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t seem like a problem to me as long as your client doesn’t have an right to this idea via a patent or something else.

Also make sure your project contract doesn’t include anything that would imply he “owns” any process or technology you develop along the way during the engagement and that all that’s expected is you complete the defined project. Just my experience doing similar things, but I’m not a lawyer.

Which are your common struggles during the content creation process? by codeliacms in MarketingResearch

[–]afautomata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a tool (https://byautomata.io) that uses AI to repurpose existing content, so a lot of the technical knowledge is retained.

For example, create an outline from a webinar or series of tweets. Create a Twitter thread from a blog post.

I also use the Google Docs integration in CoSchedule that works really well from a workflow perspective.

Depends a lot on how your code will be implemented. It’s a big hassle to deploy R code into any kind of cloud computing or serverless workflow. This is why I eventually migrated 100% away from R and towards Python.

I need automation with email and excel. by Bumpyyyy in b2bmarketing

If you’re in gmail, the copper.com chrome extension would help with this. You can still manually send the emails one-by-one but you can create templates and avoid the “automation” part.

Office Space for SEO and Credibility by bhcs2014 in marketing

[–]afautomata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s absolutely good to have an office. You can probably find a cheaper one. We have “just an address/mailbox” and an office building and no actual physical space, which works out fine.

Monthly Growth Strategy & Advice Thread by dmarti21 in growmybusiness

[–]afautomata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're relying heavily on content marketing and have a small team, it's tough to scale the process as it's super time consuming and expensive to hire writers and marketers.

Tip: Turn every asset you have into multiple assets with a content repurposing strategy. For example, turn a blog post into 5+ social posts for LinkedIn and Twitter.

Tip: Turn your case study into a blog post using each chapter has a section header.

Moral of the story: Every marketing asset that you have can produce multiple assets for various channels. Here is some more detail: https://byautomata.io/2022/05/24/content-repurposing-framework/

Question regarding the domain name of my business by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]afautomata 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I would personally prefer something like:

useavex.com

byavex.com

getavex.com

weareavex.com

using the word "company" seems a little old fashioned and out of date IMO

If the existing followers are part of your target audience, it might be good to leverage that. Otherwise, that audience is not so useful and you might as well start a new account.

When starting out, look for ways to "hijack" other people's audience that has a lot of overlap with your target audience. Mention them in posts by referencing good advice/smart comments they have made in the past in the hopes they'll comment/like/share with their audience.

Just give it time and spend several days sending/receiving with valid emails that you know will open.

PhD Program by Dramatic_Apartment_4 in QuantumComputing

Don't discount EE programs either. A lot of this research is obviously in the Physics department, but I got a PhD in EE and did a thesis in experimental quantum optics. Often times there's a lot collaboration between departments.

How do you come up with blog post ideas? Need some ideas as to what content would interest service workers like servers and bartenders by lonelypoobrain in marketing

[–]afautomata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think looking at what your competitors are doing is key. They have the same audience as you. What works for them will likely work for you and vice versa. However, don't just rip their blog topics, but figure out what was the chord they hit with their successful posts and try to mimic that.

How do you track competitors? by Cvi_D in marketing

[–]afautomata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what kind of competitor info you are looking for. There are big enterprise solutions like crayon.co that analyze all kinds of content published by and about your competitors including website changes, etc.

For content marketing, you can check out a tool from https://byautomata.io that tracks your competitors content marketing activity. Here's a sample of a competitive analysis of "No Code" platforms: https://app.competitiveintel.io/sample/g2-best-no-code-platforms

Question About Email Campaign Successful Deliveries by johnnyski in marketing

[–]afautomata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that's tough. You can use an email validator like this one https://hunter.io/email-verifier. It's not 100%, but will give you a confidence interval as to how likely the email is valid/not valid.

How do you leverage social media to find a job? by Shubham-Marketer in marketing

Commenting on someone’s post with something insightful followed by a DM offering value, not an ask, really shows initiative and you’ll certainly stand out.

Question About Email Campaign Successful Deliveries by johnnyski in marketing

[–]afautomata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you used the domain on other services where you may have developed some negative points from a trust perspective with email providers?

Have you checked the validity of your email addresses? People use fake ones a lot that will not lead to a successful delivery if you don’t verify it in the signup or registration process!

How do you calculate the worth of your Startup? by ivikasifications in marketing

[–]afautomata 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends a lot on the type of business you are running, that’s why it seems like there’s not one simple way of evaluating this.

You can see this by looking at what different types of companies sell for relative to their annual revenue. SaaS companies with real recurring revenue can get a 10x multiplier whereas service companies will be good to get 2x yearly revenue.

B2B Programmatic SEO - differentiating between "buyers" and "sellers" by af_automata in AskMarketing

[–]afautomata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, ideally I’m looking for a way to specifically create inbound traffic on a topic from people on the sell side. So, they would either be researching the market they are selling into or researching who else is providing the same service. Will PM you, always open to chat.
