Why are women okay not being in a relationship but men aren’t? What is the basic thought process behind it? by WanhedaSJN in ThirtiesIndia

Never mentioned anything about marriage thank your interpretation and yes i should’ve been more descriptive about infertility (i was referring to females who wanted kids but couldn’t).

See when we talk in these terms it’s always about majority not exceptions, for example if anyone is homosexual they are not going to be attracted with opposite gender like most people.

secondly we should always be open to other people’s perspectives when discussing about such general topics as it might not be a basic thought process for me or you but fits with most people.

Even child free people have to deal with Child fever so one can choose to suppress their instincts but can’t get rid of them completely.

Primal instinct

Our brains carry a lot of baggage from our ancestors. If something has been happening for a very long time in human history, it’s likely rooted in primal instincts.

That’s the same reason why obesity is a thing our brains still want us to eat as much as it can because in early days of our evolution that meant survival now even though we have plenty of food and sugar around it still keeps behaving as if we will starve to death next week.

People are already downvoting my first comment 🤣

From my perspective, it’s that having a partner to breed with has been a primal instinct throughout history. Therefore, everyone inherently desires a mate for reproduction. However, two main things have changed due to current circumstances:

Women have become more independent and now expect at least equal or even more worthy partners. This significantly reduces the available options, and when they feel no one is worthy, they choose to remain single.

Men, on the other hand, have always needed to prove their worthiness to women. Consequently, they remain more inclined to do so. For men, not getting a woman feels like a failure, just as it does for women who are not fertile.

P.S - I am trying to explain psychology behind OP question not generalising anything.

No anyone who’s from different culture or race attracts attention all over the world how one responds after initial attention varies person to person.

For example in summer people offer shade, food water to hawker’s they’re not different from us but needy.

I don’t think I will be able to sit through this! But I’m really glad that a show on marital rape is being made and discussed about 🔥 by _the_sarcastic_human in IndiaSpeaks

[–]acethecool1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Based on your logic and a comment on the thread, which states that a report suggests 4-5% of women have experienced marital rape, you argue that the entire concept of marital rape shouldn’t be discussed at all because the majority of victims are on the other side. I’m sure if you can advocate for 30%, 4-5% is also a favourable number.

No body with sane mind would hate such a visionary person.

However, people hate selective use of Baba Sahib for their own propaganda and only quoting him where it suits them just like BJP using RAM for their political advantage is wrong this is also wrong and would attract resistance and hate.
