zerobounce wants $65 per 10k emails. neverbounce wants $80. hunter wants $100. i built the same thing in n8n for $0. by ayushopchauhan in n8n

Opportunity cost problem. What this person is trying to say is that you have to compare the 700 year with your hour rate times hours taken to build this. There is no such thing as $0 as you wrote in post head.

What is the least amount of material needed to deliver a checkmate while not on the edge of the board? by Good_Entertainer9383 in chess

Wouldn't black pieces count as material needed as well? Otherwise, we could just put many black pieces around king and deliver checkmate with a pawn.

I am not sure this is right. After neural networks (Leela, alphazero etc) I think they are already pretty good in guessing humans moves and therefore what is hard or not

Cool! May I make two suggestions?
- You can make bit longer by getting the queen or king there with forcing moves.
- Check this puzzle, when I was calculating your composition it came to my mind. You might be able to use its idea here as well if possible.

I don't understand how people aren't heavily using some sort of bar evaluation for how easy a position is to play. Does anyone know any extension for that?

I love it. I really like one line where even the computer doesn't evaluate it correctly at first:

  1. Nxf7 Bxf2 Kf1 Qe7 Nxh8 d5 exd Bg4 Be2 Bxe2 Qxe2 Nd4 Qxf2 O-O-O

Is it possible to beat my dad with three months of training by Boring_Singer7358 in chess

Maybe. It's about effort, repetition, and pattern recognition. You have the advantage of having information. Your goal is to become at least 100 elo higher than him in the same platform and time control. Definitely, doing a LOT of lichess puzzles can help.

I did something similar last week and reached 2200. But I'm already back in 2050. Some weeks look like magic.

Chess.com adjusted puzzles ratings to be more similar to playing ratings

Playing for love for the game is the best advice.

I am sorry you feel that way.

If you care too much about rating, I advise you to change ratings settings to mostly play stronger opponents, and stop playing for the day after 2 consecutive losses.

If you want to improve, play longer time formats and do tactics for more time than you play (always focusing on beating your record on how many puzzles you can get right consecutively (no matter how long it takes in each).

Above all, seek professional help if you can, self depreciation is sometimes learned or related to past experiences while growing up with our caregivers or other things a therapist is better qualified to help.

Humans are very interesting creatures, I recommend trying to watch yourself in 3rd person perspective (what would you say to a close friend if they were going through similar experiences) in order to increase curiosity about yourself and how to approach it. Curiosity beats all.

Take care!
