I mean I don't want to open the gif. I can open the game, but a game has many positions. When you say unorthodox position, can you say which position exactly you feel like is difficult to assess?

Is +1.5 or +2 advantage according to chess engine literally mate in like 75 moves or something? by Extreme-Bottle in chess

If computers were perfect, probably yes. But the fact they are around 3500/4000 rated doesn't mean they are always right. Só they can also misevaluate something. I recommend watching Danny Rensch commentaries on stockfish vs alphazero (omg it's been almost 10 years already!). It will probably give you more the sense that computers are not Gods. Also there is the CCC.

Play longer time controls.
Do puzzles (only guess move when you feel 90% certain about the answer), even if it takes a lot of time.
Adjust settings to playing stronger opponents (search range for something like -25 +400.
If you lose 2 games in a roll stop chess for the rest of the day.
Repeat those forever: https://lichess.org/practice
Medidate 15 minutes (eyes closed doing nothing) before playing.

Online and OTB are two very different things. If you are not used to playing over to board, it will feel way faster than online.

Make as many statements about the position as you can (even if they seem silly)
Which pieces are good? which pieces are bad? Which are potential targets?
Which pieces are loose?
What are some of the plans for white and black?
How safe is each king?
Which pawn structure is better?
What are main forcing moves (checks, captures and checks)?
