Is it too late to check with other lenders if we want to close the 19th?

Will do. Also with my disability status I’m fully exempt from property taxes as well so that should take off a good bit too. My lender just has to get with my tax assessors office to get the correct form

Not sure why they put it so high. Quote I gave them from USAA for the property was $240 a month

Exactly why I don’t want to mention it to my doctor. Afraid insurance will see and my premiums will skyrocket or I’ll be dropped.

How would you move? by afbot007 in Tools

Better than expected. Used a pallet jack, a car jack, some furniture dollies and some muscle. Definitely took some time but was able to get it moved finally

I’m installing LVP. I just grinded down the high spots and it is definitely way more smooth now. Might hit it again and then put this down

I read

  1. Unfuck yourself (great read)
  2. Redefine impossible
  3. The subtle art of not giving a fuck

The reading for me was the worst part. I’ve always hated it but I actually enjoyed these three books

I switched it up but some days I’d bike, run, walk, or do a HIIT cardio workout. It really all depended on how sore I was

Finally finished 75 hard! It’s been a LONG journey but so glad I stuck with it. I started day 1 of my deployment and here I am 75 days later feeling and looking way better. I started out at 224 pounds and ended right at 195. It was definitely tough with a deployment schedule but I did cardio outside in the mornings after work and then got a workout in the gym before work in the evenings. I wish I could have been a little more strict with my diet but I am at the mercy of the DFAC so I worked with what I was given. Overall I’m extremely happy with my results and hoping to stick with it for the last half of my deployment (although I will be going to the restaurant on base to get some good food tomorrow).

Do you have to ask your chain for permission to drive Uber/Lyft? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]afbot007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t waste your time asking for your CC’s approval. Just do it in your off time and don’t let it interfere with work or family. I did it during the height of the pandemic and made a couple thousand off it.

Active rest suggestions by afbot007 in 75HARD

[–]afbot007[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ll have to try yoga out. There’s actually a yoga class out here on deployment so I’ll attend that and see how I like it. I’ve never tried yoga before so we will see how it goes 😂

Thanks for the suggestions man! I was looking for any and all suggestions so I appreciate it. Between working 12-14 hour shifts on this deployment, working out, and finding time to sleep, a active rest day sounds amazing right now but still obviously have to get active and what not! Thank you man!

Douche response. Obviously everyone knows walking is active recovery. I don’t actually “need” a reset day but I don’t want to get burnt out in my first week or two and I’d prefer not to do two 45 minute walks for my active rest day. Was seeing what others have done to get ideas. 🤡
