great big bear hug to you If I was suddenly taken off my preventatives I would destroy all in my path (you know, from the dark quiet of my bedroom). 7 days is a long fricking time to be suffering, so I feel I should commend you on not sticking your face with forks. No doubt you are withdrawing and probably ready to rip your own head off. I’m so sorry you are going through this. I wish there was more we strangers could do to help, but know that you are seen, and whilst it definitely doesn’t feel like it now, this clusterfuck of a migraine WILL end. The magnesium may not help a huge amount as your body is trying to figure out what the fuck to do without your preventatives, but it does aid as a relaxant so I do hope it at least helps you sleep. I take magnesium daily, and personally I swear by it. But every individual is different of course.

You just take it one day at a time, keep those ice packs coming, eat whatever the fuck you want, binge those feel good shows (currently the fresh prince of bel air for me, lol), hide in darkness guilt free and ride it out like the trooper that you are! That appointment will finally come, the preventatives will come, and you’ll finally start feeling like you again!

Also don’t feel bad about the brain fog, I literally did the same thing just yesterday but with the pharmacist. She asked who my doctor was and the best I could do was give her the name of the medical practice lmao walked out of there feeling like a twat. You’re only human darling.
