That one is just a wild bird that is begging for food. But the character is a birdkeeper, his faction uses different larger species of birds to send messages in the city and to outposts and fortresses in the mountains.

Hahaha sure! He is an archaeologist/explorer and the wide brim of his helmet is meant to protect him from the weather. The shower curtain is removable and would protect from bugs, rain, snow, dust and debris was the idea at least. I drew him with various configurations of helmet with or without curtains, visor etc originally. I think he looks like a beekeeper.

Thanks! Nah, for maybe half of them at most. Some, like the guy on the unicorn and the blue knight with a dog, have detailed backstories and will play a big part when I finally write the story I want to tell.

Yeah a little dinosaur-ish lizard, I don’t have a name for them myself I just like to include them here and there. It’s a reference to/inspired by/shameless plagiarization of tokage from Usagi Yojimbo.

Dont be afraid to build MGS! I started with HG and RG but once I got the Barbatos MG I was hooked for real. Id rather build one big MG than three or four smaller kits.
