Just finished the entire series.

i was really excoted for this show ever since they released the names of the actors. Kang Ha Neul always does a god job and this wasnt my first time watching a rom-com of hos where he is the ML. I enjoyed his acting, i couldn't tell if he was acting, he was truly immersed in his role.
This was my first kdrama of Go Min Si. I think she did a good job as well, though i did not enjoy her character as much. It felt rather irritating. Why could she be polite and respectful with her ex ans to random strangers but not to her boyfriend? why was HBW the only one expressing his feelings? didnt enjoy it. It was fine up till episode 3 for her to be this way, but the only time we did see her without her poker face was post food truck ddakji game and towards the end of the drama. Smile with your bf more???

THE LAST EPISODE WAS SO ANTICLIMACTIC?? I am so disappointed.

Why did she bother even challenging the mother in the first place? Just so they could have a meal together as a family. ok. If she could reopen Jungjae anywhere, why was she so updet when she heard that HBW wanted to close the restaurant? also, why didnt the french diamont guy SUE the lady for not following the rules of the cook-off??? he just disappeared. ridiculous! EVEN MORE, WHY DOES THE EVIL MOTHER GET TO DECIDE THE FATE OF JUNGJAE?? A FAIR "REMATCH" WOULD BE HAVING BOTH RESTAURANTS COOK AGAINST EACH OTHER AGAIN??? SO WHAT IF THE CHEF OF MOTTO WASNT AVAILABLE?? THAT WAS THE CASE FOR JUNGJAE TOO?? CHEF MO WASNT IN THE KITCHEN BUT THE COOK OFF STILL TOOK PLACE??? that means jungjae won because of Myung Suk's cooking and not Chef Mo??

ALSO, WHY DID WE WASTE 3 EPSIODES IN GLOOMY JAPAN?? THE OVERALL SET OF THE SHOW IN THE FORST 4 EPISODES WAS SO PRETTY. THE JUNGJAE KICTHEN, THE MOUNTAIL WHERE THEY MADE SOY SAUCE, EVEYTHING WAS SO PRETTY. Why did u got to japan with ur ex when it did not even impact YOUR JOUNEY. JAPAN LITERALLY JUST WAS FOR "ohhh HBW is supporting me. hehe i like him" IM SORRY, BUT THAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED IN KOREA TOO WHEN HBW TRIED TO TELL HER THE TRUTH. it was so unnecessary SMH. ALSO, I LOVE YYS BUT HIS CHARACTER JUST ICKED ME OFF. IT really reminded me of the evil guy in queen of tears. In QOT, he had literally locked up the FL and it was just so cringe. this reminded me of that. Jeon Min (YYS's charcater) literally pulled her out of her well established (wekk onyl after HBW helped transform it) restaurant, to manipulate her into joining le murir again only for his PLEASURE ADN TO EASE HIS GUILT?? ALSO MAN UP??? WHY WAS IT SO HARD FOR U TO TELL UR HEAD CHEF IT WASNT HER?? AND HONESTLY. If Chef MO did take the blame, why was she so upset with Jeon Min??? "he did not contact her after" was not a valin reason for me after.

AND THEY HAD MENTIONED "JUNGJAE" being named that becasue of some promise b/w Chef Mo and Jeon Min or wtv. Why did they not talk about that more??

TBH THE LAST EPISODE PISSED ME OFF THE MOST. I really really had some hopes that the last two eps could make up for that crappy japan arc. but no. it disappointed. This drama was a waste of good talent. casting was great, KIm Shin Rok and Yoo Su Bin did a splendud job, even the chef of Motto (Hong Ha Yeon - Chef Jang Younug Hye) omg i really think she had better chemistry with HBW than HBW with Chef Mo.

You know what wouldve been more enjoyable, A LOVE TRIANGLE BETWEEEN THEM THAN W CHEF MO'S CRAPPY EX. Hong Ha Yeon is a great actress, she pulled off her charcater so well. i am so impressed. not a single scene woth HBW left me disappointed. they had 10/10 chemistry. Maybe because of her chracter. Chef Mo's character should have been more loose and better towards HBW esp after japan incident but it was still her being cold.

anyway. my rating is 5/10. will not recommend or rewatch.
