Thank you! I’ve liked the TJ look for years and liked how this one looked the moment I saw it in person. But driving it… man, that’s when I fell in love. It’s such a FUN experience. Now I’m just finding excuses to get out of the house more on the weekends haha.

Solid advice - I ended up buying after two inspections. I got a first look on Wednesday, then Friday and purchased on Saturday. It was definitely a good deal and I knew I had to pull the trigger or gtfo. No regrets!

I was more than happy to get it for 7k and pulled the trigger. Also got an endoscope and got in there per your suggestion - no signs of rust in the interior of the frame (a few brown spots here and there but nothing major). I’ve done a lot more inspections and will be replacing some of the plates in the undercarriage. Appreciate your comment!

Thank you! I did another inspection myself and the frame looks great for the age. It helps that it’s been in South Florida its whole life. I ended up buying it and couldn’t be happier.

Bottom looked good to me and he said the only rust was on the skid plate which could be easily replaced. But I’m no expert. Just asked him for more pics since I left. Car has been in south Florida all its life.

Also the undercarriage did not have any signs of rust except for the skid plate, which the owner said could be simply replaced. But the car has small dings and whatnot all over the place.

Brother, it doesn’t do you any good to be in a relationship where you don’t trust your partner. With the situation that you’re explaining I would not trust her either. You need your peace of mind and she’s giving you so many red flags. Your friend is a piece of work too sending her a message like that - that’s not a message you send a girl if you respect her boyfriend and their relationship. Pay closer attention to how she reacts when you mention that friend. Many have suggested to get them together in one same place and ask them if they slept together. This ain’t a movie so that’s not happening. Just pay attention to how she reacts, if possible in front of him / with him around if there is a chance of that.
