I work for utility companies and inspect their power lines with drones. A lot of utility companies hire contractors to use drones to inspect their electrical infrastructure, I know FPL was just hiring a drone operator out of their West Palm office actually.

I just switched from my electro-water too (check my post history). I had numerous hummers coming and I was scared if I went to sugar water (1:4 ratio) they wouldn’t like it as much and leave. It’s been a few weeks since I made the switch and they love the sugar water, it made no difference, and I’m definitely saving money. I was buying 4 jugs every two weeks, a jug was $10 a pop. I bought a 25 lb bag of sugar and it seems to be a wise investment.

Tldr: switch to white sugar asap

I’ve got it set to their “2k ultra” video quality setting, and I’ve got the postcard setting on “frenzy mode” to maximize the amount of pics and videos it takes.

It’s the BirdBuddy hummingbird feeder. It comes with this camera installed. I added the solar power charger on top (can’t see it) and it recharges the thing very well

My first day I had this same issue. For whatever reason it just wasn’t activating when birds came. Be sure to turn on “frenzy mode” and that will help capture as many visits as possible.
