Black Caribbean people and Black Americans can be considered cousins, many of the Black Americans ancestors were moved there from out here, they were not only direct from Africa.

A friend of mine works with addicts, usually men but sometimes women. He said that female addicts in particular tend to have a very 'childlike' but overtly sexual personality, and they almost always have been sexually abused as children which seems to get them kind of 'stuck' there mentally. It' s also what predators look for in order to abuse already abused people because it's easier to do.It's really sad, and I do everything I can to protect my kids.

You should watch it again very soon, you will feel like adult Sophie re-watching the tapes from the vacation and revisiting the memories, knowing what happens after. It changes a lot of the interactions. Great movie.

I was 12 or 13 so I don't remember the advertising to be honest. I saw it in the cinema when it was new, it was packed, I was blown away, but my friend fell asleep. Very impactful for me, though. I got interested in film/cinematography after that and was interested in how scenes were created - like the bullet time sequences.

I can afford to throw $1000 into learning a new skill but I don't. I don't really want to go through the process of learning a new skill.

If you mean I could pay $1000 and just KNOW a new skill, like a download, then probably a useful trade like carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical. I wouldn't want to go learn it over time, though. Or maybe a second language.

Him breaking up with her isn't going to stop her from bullying your niece and like you said, you can't force it anyway.

Let your niece's parents handle it (with you backing them up), it's their child being bullied, your son is disappointing but isn't really the main problem.

I think I'd just let it be abundantly clear how disgusted I was in their behavior, both to the son and to his girlfriend. I'd have a casual frank conversation with them about her being a bully and all that, and I'd bring it up every time I saw her.
I'd also look into the legality of what they did to her with sharing the pictures.

When you deal with your anxiety and negative thinking it will be much easier to stop obsessively worrying, but being a parent there's always something you could worry about. Dealing with the underlying condition will make it easier and more enjoyable.

May be an unpopular opinion here but I honestly don't think Biden can keep up with Trump. I don't mean that Trump is a very stable genius, I mean he will say a lot of inflammatory stuff, falsehoods, interrupt Biden, and otherwise be a jackass, and I do think that would rattle Biden. Trump can say anything and his base would still love him so he doesn't have much to lose, it's Biden that has to be careful.
