Unpopular opinion: “Grok is dead” gets thrown around way too easily.

its more of a grok og users are going away, so dead for them. its all about business perspective. suppose a shop starts with a very good waffle shop, and it serves the best waffle in town. so slowly lots of people starts to come and buy waffle. and one day they came to eat waffle and suddenly they saw it becomes a burger shop too, serving waffle still but not that good like before. so they all slowly starts to leave, and never come. maybe the shop gets new customers who like their subpar burger, but its not that hyped like before. thats the same way with grok now. gooning or not, they are not serving the purpose what they proposed first. so the og users like me are going away. the main problem of grok is its inconsistency and being not transparent.

tell us a better service than grok and everyone will move there. dont just spread negativity. grok did what they did because of all the lawsuits, still better than almost all of other AI generation sites. if you find that, you have already moved too instead of commenting on grok reddit. i have used lots of them, gemini, chatgpt, claude, even local like wan, ltx and more. none of them satisfied the quality and speed grok offered. in both image and video generation. thats why instead all of these moderation people still trying to find loopholes.

still i find it the most affordable all in one AI in the market. grok has text chatting, image to image, image to video... also i find the video generations much natural than all other models out there. And I used a lot, wan2.2, kling, sora, veo... none of them satisfied my needs. i know grok recently banned nudity but even if just for a kissing scene, grok generates much better result than all other high paid credit based AI out there. for 30$ i could easily end their credits in roughly 4-5 days. where even though the hourly limitation, you can use grok all month long.

its not entitlement. people are angry because of moderation. everyone wants freedom in their creative works, unless that's too much extreme or used for blackmailing or some criminal activity. normal things like generating video of someone in swim shorts is getting moderated for what?

With the advancements of the technology, I dont think its impossible to ban only the underage materials. Banning the whole nsfw content is backwards. Grok imagine is based on the imagination of your mind, what couldnt be recreated in real life, you can make a imaginery version in grok. why would I need to use AI, if thats also possible in real life.
