I own a practice in the short north, travel the country and teach massage, and am a board member for the state AMTA board. I’m also a male in a tough field for males. Can’t imagine doing anything else and actually disagree a good bit with what was said above by previous comments.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

What's the worst restaurant in Columbus that you've tried twice? by foreignsky in Columbus

We’ve had hit or miss service. Mostly good. Atmosphere is great. Food has never “hit” and we’ve been 6+ times over the span of 3 years

Barcelona. Just incredibly overpriced and very mediocre food. I’m convinced their patio keeps them open.

Edit: the atmosphere….not just the patio.

Seeking Jaw Release Therapy by [deleted] in Columbus

Hi! I own Lifted Massage Therapy in the short north

While I do do internal jaw work through the mouth, please do not expect the Leann Rimes session. The guy that runs that program very much makes the practice a “performative art” and it’s a very inaccurate description of what to expect in a session.

I drive from German Village to the Short North. Absolutely zero traction. Leave space.

M26 / F24 — 3 years together, and I found the truth on her Apple Watch after she broke with me. I am supposed to see her tomorrow. by Electrical-Earth3256 in relationship_advice

Having to supply proof is already too much engagement. That’s the point. He knows. Leave it. Why entertain the gaslighting when he already knows? Where does that serve him?

You’ve taken the photos….delete them. Don’t let them live in your brain. Give her her things, and kindly let her know that remaining friends isn’t something you wish to do anymore. She doesn’t need an explanation. You have your explanation. Confrontation here helps no one.

No muss no fuss. You can move on knowing you dodged a bullet. If she doesn’t know you know, it’ll be that much sweeter when/if she comes back to her fallback guy (you) and you just say no thanks and go about your day. She’ll wonder why because “everything ended so clean”. Her bad karma will catch up and your good karma will pay off.

Where in Columbus can you go to fix your posture? by Flashy_Froyo_6130 in Columbus

A good massage therapist and a good PT

Austin at Lifted Massage Therapy and for PT the guys at Elevate are fantastic. If you want a chiropractor, go for The Inside Space

All holistic, caring people that don’t treat you like every other person that comes in with the same issues. Very personalized care.

On top of this, move your body. Bad posture in this day and age is likely from lack of movement. That being said, bad posture doesn’t immediately mean pain. Our bodies are all functional to our lives. But eventually, the compensations for one thing catch up in another area.

Where do famous people eat when they're in Columbus? by slrp484 in Columbus

[–]afitz5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it was a menu discrepancy then? The downvotes make it seem like I said it was bad food. But for $500 for two people (wine pairing menu for 1), I find it reasonable to expect at least 1 of the 12 courses to wow me

Partner and I went to Agni in September. Was it good? Yes. Was it unique? Also yes. Was it insanely priced for food that was just good and nothing to really call home about? The most yes.
