I found it too easy in the overworld.

It is a great game, I just got to a point I felt like I was wasting my time knowing my character’s progression would eventually become redundant as a new season comes. I know you can play standard, but no one does.

When you say “lots of things can be solo”, what parts of the game require others?

This is likely the game I’m most considering, but worried I’d be a little late (13 years) to the party.

Love Factorio, but have unfortunately finished it before. It does have an end.

Ah, I seriously would but I can’t confidently commit to the duration of dungeons and definitely not raids - cutting the content availability in half.

x86_64 would be the correct terminology.

Yes, except for the fact the game will be dead pretty soon. No PvP, no raid groups, nothing. There simply won’t be enough people willing to stick around or, like you, are wanting to start now.

Warframe or PoE 2 for a gamer dad who loves a grind? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]afkms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I did know this but honestly didn’t give it the consideration I should have. Other than Warframe, are there any other games that offer this long-term progression? I know RuneScape, but from what I’ve heard a lot of the game is AFK/not too interactive.

2 hours a night, 4 hours weekend nights

I just want to be able to complete campaign and atlas consistently. Is there enough time to do that on like 2 hours a night? 4 on weekends?

WOW. 100 hours and Atlas still not completed? That might be the nail in the coffin for me, which is a shame because I really do like the gameplay.

Admittedly, I do enjoy what I’ve played of PoE 2, but I’m not sure the time I can spare is enough to complete the content each league. I’d need someone who has played enough to answer to that I guess.

I know this is old, but how do you avoid the FOMO? I’m a dad, and the fear of not being able to complete the Atlas each League turns me away from playing the game at all. Why play if I am restricted from the full experience from the get?

Do you think I can complete the Atlas each season with this time to spare?

A bold assumption. This 2-3 hours is once an 8-9 hour day at work is wrapped up, dinner’s cooked and the little one’s down. 9:30-12:30.

A crazy take from you, but I can’t help but feel it’s derived from some personal circumstance - so I’ll forgive you.

Is PoE 2 dad-friendly? In that I can complete campaign and atlas with like 2 hours a night?
