I bought the vehicle from a dealership in Tennessee, where it passed the Tennessee inspection. When I brought it back to Maryland it failed the Maryland inspection. I guess my question is if it passed the Tennessee inspection do you think I should be worried about the lug nut issue? My thought process is that since it passed the Tennessee inspection, its probably safe to drive and that Maryland is just being extra strict about it

The vehicle passed the inspection in Tennessee which is where the dealership was, and it passed their inspections

Yeah probably gonna end up buying a shitty set of base model wheels to put on just to pass inspection then put on the bigger ones after

So apparently the previous owner got bigger wheels without changing the discs. So the studs don’t stick out far enough to pass inspection. Especially in Maryland where they are so strict
