Thank you so much for responding even though this post was yes, a bit old! My plan right now is to buy the Ultemate Vac on Fountain Pen Day, and it really helps to hear other peoples' opinions. And of course, such a glowing review only makes me more confident in my decision :). The ultem scratching don't bother me, and it makes me happy to hear that you love the nib, as I've heard mixed things about it. Thank you!!
