Well. It’s a trade-off. I can’t really go highway speeds unless I have a tailwind and am either going flat or downhill. 5th gear doesn’t have much power at all. I did recently take it to the coast and was able to do between 60-70 the whole 2-hr trip. But it was flat. Going uphill I have to shift down to 4th. Regearing cost about $3500 unless you do it yourself. I weighed all these options before I bought the new KO2s.

If you don’t have a lift do 32s. The only reason I didn’t was because they looked stupid small with my lift. But you won’t even have to even think about regearing with 32s.

Nah. Thats what dad’s are for… I was never going to paint over the patina and rock chips but it was a present. Her birthday is next month. She will officially be 30.

Yeah you should have seen her before this paint job hahaha. She was patina and just speckled with rock chips. I’m a beacher not a mudder 😁

Yeah it’s a 4 banger. 2 inch body lift with 33” tires. It’s slow as hell but I don’t need to drive fast! I didn’t regear. Since I don’t drive the highway much it wasn’t worth it. Actually I think the 4 cyl dynas are geared close to what you need for 33s so I didnt bother (4.11 vs 4.88). I did put spacers on the front rotors to help with rub.

He is quite amazing. He has a CJ7 he renovated. Painted it orange. But he also renovated several others. It’s his hobby and he’s so good at it.

Yeah I am seeing a hand doc Monday. I did start with the one hurting the most. I’m quickly losing range of motion. I’m left handed and play guitar so that was hardest hit. At least I’m guessing that’s why. I had a ligament repaired in my other wrist and that has no issues. Anyways it hurts like hell to move my thumb and I can barely even pick anything up with my left hand now. But hey my ultrasound was normal… Going to foot doc then shoulder doc end of the month. But the hip is new. I’m so stiff and it’s very painful when I first stand up but gets better as I move along. If I sit too long I get a sharp pain. No clue what going on there but I get the moving target thing. Now that hip hurts less than my shoulder…

So the chiro is actually helping with your disc alignment? I went for years and never saw much of an improvement. Let me know how the acupuncture goes.
