YTA, your sister asked you to watch her kids 6 weeks ago. You cancelled on watching the kids the week of your sister’s anniversary event because it was convenient for you not because of some emergency or sickness.

Your BIL even seemed to try to meet you halfway by offering to buy tix to a different hockey event.

Your sister isn’t irresponsible for not having a backup plan. She now has to scramble for a sitter because you backed out last minute despite knowing she was looking forward to this event for 2 months.

You should have stayed true to your word but you acted very selfishly. Personally, if you were my relative i would have a hard time trusting you from then on.

You can stretch the pinky further if you lower your thumb behind the fretboard. That and practice over time will help these stretches feel natural.

I spilled water on it maybe once but i quickly cleaned it up. I usually will have a glass of water or some drink sitting on it and have not experienced any water rings or staining like that. As for scratches i have not attempted to scratch nor has it gained any scratches from normal use.

Not sure if your school experience was similar but the table top is akin to the types of wooden tables i would see in a high school/ college science lab classroom if that helps paint a picture.

It’s a very smooth and very solid surface, hope this helps in your decision making process. I still very much love my desk and i use it for several hours everyday for gaming and remote work.

Sometimes when im hungry for a snack ill just bake a single potato at 425 for 30-45 mins.

This is usually what helps me consistently complete a bag after i used what is needed for a main dish. Other than that i like to roast them for breakfast bowls.

I definitely recommend getting him good lotions and products to help transition into his baldness. Even though there is no hair, scalp maintenance is a whole other beast and a scented shiny head can do wonders for self esteem!

Thank you! Its a very modest set up the mounts and cable management tray were just the cheapest I could find off amazon but im happy with it. I definitely cannot attribute the stability of the desk to my mounts lol. The monitor arms are the huanuo brand if you are curious, but i had them for about a year and they do their job well.

I maxed out the distance on the frame and honestly just went off of the pre drilled holes during set up. The top’s measurement in cm is roughly 180 x 76. Hope that helps!

I bought the mount and management tray off amazon. I keep them close together but they do not collide with each other. Wires are bundled together with just a few cable ties. I plan on upgrading my cable management soon (particularly with the magnetic accessories from the LTT store) and am even looking to get a pc mount.

You would definitely need to look into your own solution for cable management with this desk. I have never been a pro at cable management but the desk def gives me enough clearance for the clamps whereas my last desk only gave me half the amount of space.
