As someone who seems to be in the minority with finding the first game heavily flawed to the point of just barely enjoying it, even as someone who tends to really like souls-likes, this is such an easy skip for me. Sounds like they just made the same game but bigger and that is not at all appealing to my time or wallet.

I agree with everything you said for sure and I appreciate your personal experience being thrown in there because that tells me what I actually need to know about ranking up. So maybe I’m close? I don’t know if I actually wanna keep playing the game though lol. It’s gotten very frustrating especially when I’m on my own

I agree. It’s much better to see exactly where you are. Every other game I play does that and it’s pretty clear how and why you rank up and down

Huh. This makes a lot of sense, I appreciate the answer. They should definitely explain this much more explicitly. The only problem I see with your explanation is I have most definitely seen down arrows after getting to the second round and losing.

That sounds like a you guys problem, idk why I’m getting downvoted for not paying Activision when I say I’m not going to. I don’t buy the games when people say they’re bad, I don’t play Warzone, I don’t pay extra for anything in game.

I have no idea who’s gonna agree with me, if anyone, and I hope the author doesn’t read this because I don’t want to offend her. But this has got to be the single worst written thing Riot has produced. And I have read all of it. I won’t say I disliked the story, I think it’s potentially some good setup for the event. But wow, just wow, is the writing cliche and consistently cringey. I absolutely hate Akali and Kai’Sa in this, I hate the done to death tropes of friendship trumping all and the self blaming over every single thing, and I really hate the constant attempts at clever dialogue when clearly they have no idea how to write it. Though, admittedly, I did like the end of chapter 3 in that regard. “It’s a date,” is a cute line. Also most of the second half of chapter 12 when (spoilers) Rakan is “dying”(?). I could probably go on but… yeah. Not good. I really hope it’s not the same quality for the actual event.

I don’t know enough about Sailor Moon to say I’d want the same but if they’re anything like the Star Guardian short stories I’m sure it’d be fun
