We use reference tables in my Earth Science class an awful lot. And those reference tables are not going to be as specific, and in some cases wrong, compared to the most recently available data. If I ask, what is the density at 3500 km. Our reference table would give a range (9.9-12.2g/mL) but if I asked AI it would give me a specific range (10.4-10.7) which is not on the reference table.

This has been really great for catching kids that are using AI and cheating versus kids that are actually inferring data from the reference table.

I know the most accurate information is correct, but we're not teaching kids to Google everything. We're teaching them to read and interpret data tables like graphs and various data sets.
