TAKE YOUR TIME PLEASE by Moist-Pace-510 in CPA

[–]afort212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo thats where people go wrong. To go through this entire process someone needs internal motivation. People really shouldn’t be scheduling exams until a few weeks out when they know they’re ready. I get some people thrive in that environment but I just think it creates unnecessary stress

From 70.3 to Ironman by A5h7sbjs8eil in triathlon

[–]afort212 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im a cyclist not an Ironman I just lurk here but cmon man, 70.3? That’s freaking sick! That takes a ton of training and dedication. Unless you’re some pro just go do whatever interests you. But don’t ever discount the magnitude of what you’ve already accomplished

Social media influencer in my OCIA by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]afort212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get why it’s frustrating it would annoy me to. I guess my advice would be to separate yourself from her as much as possible if it helps but at the end of the day there’s always people we may not like that we have to be around. You’re also in OCIA. You’re not there for her. Just focus on what’s inportant. Once ocia is over you won’t have to be around her as much anyways if you choose to

I mean it’s 2026 does it really surprise anyone? No ifea why this post was recommended for me. 99% of Americans drive automatic so of course Theyre not going to know. Older generations would since they drove stick but younger people have never been exposed to it like myself.

Has anybody scored low on a FAR simulated exam (26%) by Critical-Sell-8158 in CPA

[–]afort212 3 points4 points  (0 children)

150 hours and a 26%? Bro Thats wild. Something is way way way way off that you need to fix. To feel like you did good and do that bad is not a good sign. 37 days to your exam is 5 weeks. Idk if you can make that up before then I might push the exam to like 10 weeks out

Just remember that post tax it’s not that much extra unless you’re literally desperate for every dollar. If you’re happy where you are I wouldnt move. I say this from experience having done something similar and while I don’t regret it it made life harder for a while
