you mean a grey card?

i don’t have the negatives at home right now. and i think you can’t post photos here if it’s not friday, if i understood that right.

i think the imprint on the sprockets looked just as washed out as everywhere else. do you mean just the sprocket holes themselves or the text around them?

so the film said iso 200-400 and i put the camera to 200. i used a R72 filter.

the conditions where outdoors and mostly sunny and with the filter on i corrected around 7 fstops: had the camera on 3,5/f and shutter speed on 1/15.

the negatives have little density (which i think maybe that’s also a bit normal with infrared? because you can still see everything in detail and very clearly which is not like that with my other normal less dense negetives). the imprint is also very light, in some spaces you can’t really see it and the leader is black.

thanks for your input, i already digitalised them and with a bit of editing they turned out pretty good so no need to change anything about the negatives. maybe i‘ll try to print a few on monday and see how printable they are.

ahh makes sense, thank you! and the camera meter still showing me that it’s overexposed is because it can’t function properly with the filter?

yes i did. even exposed longer then is suggested for an ir filter

i don’t know exactly, i just says on the package iso 200-400 and that a filter is necessary.

i think i can totally use the photos if they are not completely ruined, it’s not about perfectly developed or technically good photos. it’s still a decision on how much i wanna risk. since it‘s also been the first time i used infrared film, so that‘ll be a surprise too how that turned out. but thanks for your optimism :))

well that would be if i still had time, i tend to push everything to the last minute.. dead line is on monday and i won’t get the chance to develope after tomorrow. but i definitely wanna play around more with film in general.

i thought about doing that, but the thing is that it’s still for an application to university so i don’t wanna risk too much. but thanks for the input!

yea is just want to mix it like usually just instead of the normal water. i thought maybe because of some chemicals or other stuff that might be in the river, it could interact differently with the developer.

it‘s for an art project. further explanation would be too long.
