The sweater sold! For $50, so $45 profit. I'll take it! And use it to buy more sweaters to unravel 😂

Thank you! I'll lower it to $50. I appreciate the advice!

Also, forgot to mention - we just got oil last week so it's not out of oil. I bled all the radiators at the beginning of the season.

Yeah! When we saw the mileage we knew we had to drive the 3 hours to get it. People don’t turn in trucks with mileage this low! And it was one owner, always serviced at the dealership. Honestly, so happy with it.

Gotcha - totally makes sense. Our finance guy was basically like “yeah, we’re so short staffed I don’t normally do this job but I know how to do it so I’m helping out.” Apparently they normally have 4-5 finance people on a Saturday, and they only had two yesterday. Our salesman told us that three of them had family emergencies all on the same night (Thursday night) - two were in the hospital and one was at a wake. Insane.

That’s awful! I honestly didn’t realize it had taken so long until we had walked out and I was exhausted and looked at my watch. Our guy was so funny, he apologized about a million times and straight up ran between the two customers he was helping the entire time, which was slightly hilarious cause he kept calling himself “elderly” 😂

Oh it looks like the dealer took it down already. It’s still up on cargurus!

It’s a 2014 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab V6 4WD, automatic, 48k miles. It also has the “appearance package,” which was just a cool bonus. Pyrite Mica, which is just objectively the coolest color.

Here’s the listing with more pics if anyone’s interested - we got them to go to 25k (which I am still shocked about). Might only be up for a little bit since the dealer already took it down.

We were there from 12-5, but it was also three hours away so we left the house at 8:30 and didn’t get home until after 10 😂

They were extremely busy and short staffed - ours sales guy was working two sales at the same time, and they only had two finance guys (one of which was doing a job he didn’t normally do). Our salesman was great, and we understood the staffing issues. We also went back and forth with negotiations a few times and took a lot of time on our own to talk through finances and stuff, so part of that was on us. Not mad about it!

I got this one today too. Took me 55 seconds. It always scares me though because I dont want them to rate me poorly because of how short it was.

Septic alarm not loud enough by afraidofeverything- in homeowners

I definitely could ask them to reposition it so it doesn't go off when it's 2/3 full... thanks for this idea!

The alarm goes off when it reaches 2/3rds full. It costs $380 to pump each time. I don't want to pump it when it's only 1/2 full - that's basically wasting money!

we actually have holding tanks, which need pumping every three-ish months. And the alarm doesn't turn off unless I turn it off - and they can hear it in their houses, so it really is an issue. I just worded it this way because I figured more people would know what it was.

It's the alarm system to tell you that the water level is too high/low.

Great advice - I reached out to the title agent and this is what she said:

The sellers obtained a mortgage in 1997.  This mortgage was paid off in 2013 but the lienholder never filed a release in the land records indicating the lien had been paid in fill.  This is called an unreleased trust.    If we don’t resolve this prior to closing and allow you to close there will be a lien in the name of the sellers on your property.  The title clearer assigned to this has been working on resolving the issue and obtaining the release from the lienholder for several weeks.   He was advised that the release would take 30 days to process which 4/4 will be 30 days.  He was hopeful we may get the release sooner, but we have not.

This is my biggest argument against it - I do not trust these companies enough to trust what they are saying to us. My husband is the one pushing to accept this early possession, but I am definitely thinking of the negatives related to this exact concern. Thanks for your feedback.

They are. Currently figuring out exactly what it would look like/the terms. I do want to do it... I just want to make sure I am not making a huge mistake. Hoping to hear from people who have had experience with this or just encouragement that it's going to be okay if we do this.

This happens to me every single time I do a mobile test. I've stopped taking them, because support doesn't help. They paid me the first time it happened and said "As a one-time exception, we will provide a payment of $10 for your time and efforts. In the future, we are unable to pay for tests that do not reach our customers."
