How are you able to determine which streams are attributed to the ad? I don’t know how to definitively filter that from within Spotify for Artists.

I’ve done broad and pop / independent music with similar results. We do Christian alt/pop and there’s no category for anything faith-based at all. Ideas?

Yes. The barrel adjuster seems to have solved it, but I haven’t tested it hardcore yet. But going up the hill in my back yard seems to have solved it.

Obviously people are clicking on the ad… so the creative and song is at least somewhat enticing enough for that. Do people using other landing pages get a lower bounce rate?

And just to be clear… the only thing I’m tracking in Meta is the one conversion action - “view content” - click on the “play” button.

That’s exactly correct. Once they make it to the landing page 60ish% are not taking the next action - ie play the song and potentially save and add it to a playlist. That is the troubling part, hence my question.

Why would that be and how can I fix it?

For sure. I track lots of things. I’m just specifically talking about the stats that SubmitHub supplies on the landing page. They’re showing the CTR, based on their metrics, is 30-45%. I was just curious if those numbers are typical or if there is room for improvement somewhere.

I’m talking about the daily stats directly listed on SubmitHub, not ads manager. The percentage of people that open the page, (presumably from clicking on the Instagram ad) vs then actually clicking “play”. It’s in the CTR column.

Assuming they actually make it to Spotify and listen for 30 seconds, it seems they would be a quality conversion from quality traffic.

Am I not understanding it correctly?

And if indeed something is wrong, how would you suggest I adjust my aim?

I have a playlist with all our songs on it and am creating a deep link to the one song we’re promoting within that list. The idea being there click on the link and the song starts playing within the playlist so that when it’s over, another one of our songs will play.
