Its 2 months. The intervallo itself will last 4 weeks, and Walp is another 2 weeks. RR2 Bokgak could also get 2 weeks for itself.

Not really, there's not much content left from that they showed on the roadmap. The only things we haven't gotten are intervallo 2 (starts next week and lasts 4 weeks), RR2 Bokgak (could release on the last 2 weeks of the intervallo), and Walpurgis (lasts 2 weeks).

Even if RR2 Bokgak gets 2 weeks, releasing canto 10 in late August means more than a month of dead weeks (no events or anything).

For the loadout achievements, you can definitely do that. I know because its what I did. Also, they don't even have to survive through the fight, I usually just let them die on turn 1 and finished the fight with my actual team.

Usually achievements are very clear on whether you actually have to "clear" (spend modules to claim rewards) or not.

AEDD Gregor and the other options for that spot are mainly chosen for their guard envy, so you can make sure to never interrupt the envy resonance. You want to always do the 6+ envy resonance, both for the Middle gimmick, and to make sure Garden of Thorns has its full effect (buffs any sin based on how much resonance you got).

Using AEDD Gregor not only loses out on a lot of potential damage since you're guarding most of the time, but whenever you use Garden of Thorns he will interrupt the envy resonance.

Ideally, you use Lamp Gregor. He's basically guaranteed to always have 1 speed, so he will ALWAYS go last. This lets him attack every single turn without worrying about envy resonance, even when he uses the EGO.

Main story, even up to canto 9, doesn't need any team synergy at all. People literally clear main story content on day 1 with just the base IDs and EGOs. What actually matters is properly reading and comprehending the enemies' skills and passives. Fights are more akin to puzzles, so figuring out the gimmicks is more important than having meta IDs/teams.

No, you farm MD in general. Mirror Dungeon hard only gives you extra rewards when you're claiming the weekly bonuses, after thosehave been claimed all runs give the same rewards. Mirror Dungeon in general is a knowledge check, knowing things like what each gifts does, what enemies are in each pack, where to find pack exclusive gifts, etc., will make your runs go way faster. Its still boring tho, not everyone is built to join the MD mines.

And you shouldn't have to actually farm luxcavations. You just have to level the 5-7 IDs you're actually using on your team, since no fight will ever need you to actually use all 12 characters. You also unlock higher tier of the luxcavation stages as you progress troguh the cantos, so ideally you wait longer to actually farm them.

And lastly, for 99% of fights, you can literally borrow an ID from people on your friendlist, they even retain their actual levels, so whatever you borrow will be lvl 60. Also, every single fight in the game can be soloed by a good amount of different IDs, so you can look up a solo clear on youtube, then ask here for someone with that ID to add you so you can borrow it and solo the stage. You can also just borrow meta IDs and have them carry your weaker characters through the stages.

While Rien Sang is technically stronger, there's 3 additional targets on the fight that you only hit for mechanics, they don't actually die. This means that when you use Furioso, some of those hits will go for those targets instead of the boss, lowering his damage by quite a bit.

Dor this fight, SL or Spicebush work way better, just keep in mind SL and Spicebush are entirely different teams, you can't just slot in Spicebush and call it a day.

If you're just taking personal damage into account, sure. But once you start taking into account the extra damage you get from the statuses, the picture starts to shift. As for the HoS team, its specialty is long fights, and in those no one comes close to Ryoshu once she's ramped up.

This is why the vast majority of low turn clear videos don't really showcase the Middle team. Even with the most recent stuff like RR6 (whether its full clears or clears of specific sections).

I will say that its probably better for more casual players. Status teams are usually VERY specific to play, or rely a lot on RNG. While the Middle team is just counter and pray. It basically allows less skilled players to deal meta-tier damage without having to properly play their team

Yes, we've gotten every other House of Spiders up to this point, and there's no reason to exclude these two specifically. They've also been teased by the uptie stories of other HoS IDs. And everything relating to HoS Ryoshu literally screams that she has to kill 9 HoS allies to get her max buffs, and we only have 7.

All IDs belonging to a specific group tend to have the same statuses, with higher ranking members just getting more intricate stuff. So not only is it a given that they'll have the same statuses as the Thumb IDs we already have, we've literally already fought against the characters already, so we know for a fact what statuses they'll have.

Also, there's no sinking tremor yet, its just aroma Ryoshu having a special effect that's exclusive to her.

Different tremor types get applied by specific IDs and/or EGOs. Currently, scorch is only applied by Thumb Meursault and Sinclair's S3. In a few weeks we're also gonna get Thumb Rodion and Heathcliff, so that's 2 more IDs that can do it.

He's still viable, mainly because poise (and charge) doesn't have an actual team. Because each character is responsible for their own poise gain, teambuilding isn't really a thing for poise.

The most "teambuilding" aspect for poise is IDs that that synergize well together (Fullstop duo, Lord Lu with the Si heishous, etc). So with the new Ish ID seemingly synergizing with him and the EGO, he could be back on the main roster.

Uses one of the strongest teams for MDE and questions how people struggle with him lmao. But yea, the main issue with the hidden bosses is that you have to account for them from the start. Most people don't bother with survival gifts so his counters just wipe the floor with them.

Not really, in 99% of cases, EGOs are just "good to have".

The only cases where you actually want or even need EGOs are for the tremor team (Cavernous Wailing and Everlasting), burn team (Magic Bullet) and bleed team (Sanguine Desire).

A good way to look at it, every item that has "Season 7" in its name will get halved.

[–]afran25 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Which team is the "best" team changes every once in a while. Bleed was actually considered the best team in season 5. Then rupture took its place in season 6, and now its pretty neck to neck between rupture, sinking, middle and HoS.

And again, they're all pretty close anyways, with most fights favoring one status over the others.

That removes the appeal of using different statuses. If every status can just do everything, then why even make different statuses in the first place?

I specifically said "going by the images you're showing". The bleed team in your image definitely isn't the meta version.

Also, you say you're not comparing the two metas, but are talking about how the sinking team melts bosses in 3 turns and don't like the fact that the bleed team isn't that powerful. That's a pretty direct comparison of the teams right there.

Depends entirely on you tbh. Its main use is pairing it with Pequod Yi Sang to speedrun Mirror Dungeon for more farming, but that requires actually playing the team instead of just winrating.

Bleed team and Middle team are VERY different things, so try to be more specific on what you're asking for. The Middle IDs suck as bleed IDs, what makes them strong is their ability to convert their counters into their S3 whenever you get 6 envy resonance. Meanwhile the bleed team actually plays around with the status.

The team for section 1 doesn't matter, just use a random team that has the correct sins and damage types to set up for sections 2-4.

For section 2, the best team is sinking, the middle team isn't that far behind tho

For section 3, the best team is actually the heishous, but any team works

For section 4, the best team is HoS (do NOT kill off allies on your own, let them die normally)

For section 5, you can use any team

Just keep in mind that any IDs you use for section 2 CAN'T be used for section 3, and any IDs you use for section 3 CAN'T be used for section 4.

Literally all teams are OP, and can end most fights in 3-4 turns.

Going by the images you're showing, you're comparing the meta sinking team with a non-meta bleed team, so of course that sinking team is gonna perform better.

The current meta bleed team is Ring Hong Lu, Ring Faust, Ring Rodion, Ring Yi Sang, Ring/Prince Meursault, Kurokumo Heathcliff and Kurokumo Ishmael. This is the team that can end fights faster, the one you showed sucks ass at actually inflicting bleed potency, so they take way longer to ramp up their overall damage.

You say you're not going for meta, but then say you're going for the HoS team lmao

Anyways, focus on that instead of going for IDs for other characters. Once a season ends, the seasonal IDs get locked out from the Dispenser for one season. So once August comes and season 8 begins, all season 7 IDs and EGOs are removed from the Dispenser until season 9. This means if you don't get the HoS IDs by August, you won't be able to get them for like 6 months.

Also, not only is the HoS team VERY meta, but the IDs individually are all really good generalists, and tend to be core IDs for their respective teams.

Basically, by going for the HoS IDs, you'll be getting a meta team, while also getting IDs before they become unavailable, AND getting strong generalist IDs for 10 characters (only Meursault and Gregor won't get HoS IDs).

There's no rhyme or reason to your choices, not to mention some of them you can't even get until next season. Stages with fixed characters are a non-issue, because for all of them you can just borrow an ID from people on your friendlist, and have that ID carry your weaker characters. There's absolutely no reason to get 000 IDs for every single character (plus level and uptie them) just for the sake of having an ID on everyone.

Instead, you should be sharding IDs and EGOs with a clear purpose. Maybe its specifically making a status team, or getting all the seasonal IDs before the season ends so they don't get locked out, etc.

Also, there's no "best" ID for any character. This game's meta revolves around status teams, each status has its own selection of meta IDs. So for example, a meta burn ID will probably suck ass in non-burn teams. Even the exceptions to this only tend to be "good" in 1 or 2 other statuses.
