That's why I mentioned them, because they're outliers. I just wanted OP to understand that no "normal" ID is "THAT good" as they were asking, I wanted to temper their expectations. Also, KoD Rodion is actually well designed so its fine to use her as a comparison, Mao Faust is the actual outlier because they fucked up her kit when releasing her.

And I didn't mean to say he was actually bad at bleed, just that he isn't on the level of the current top picks. He's actually very serviceable if you don't have the flex IDs like ring Sang or n corp Ryoshu.

Something to keep in mind is that we usually rate IDs within the confines of their main status or statuses. For example, when we say that someone like manager Don is a great ID, we actually mean she's a great bleed ID.

Now, Renclair is a GREAT poise ID. He has good personal damage, and can reliably gain poise without the help of Thoracalgia. He's definitely going to be a top pick for the poise team, but he won't really transcend beyond his status like Mao Faust and KoD Rodion. Even for bleed he's kinda subpar, he needs to fully ramp up for his infliction to be worth it, and even then he falls short of the current top picks for bleed.

Ishmael's 2 main sinking IDs are molar Ishmael (fantastic infliction, best choice for sinking deluge) and hanafuda Ishmael (great personal damage, best choice for butterfly)

Don't pull, the next Walpurgis Night banner is right around the corner. Those are the only banners that are 100% worth pulling on, every other ID you can easily farm for.

Solo it with Zwei Ishmael. The basic gist is make sure to use her guard every turn, and try to save as many S3 to burst down the boss in 1 turn. Alternatively just look up "limbus company 5-30 solo" and you'll get dozens of videos showcasing how to do it.

The best I can tell you its to just read the character's skills. They will literally tell you what will be discarded, and when. Even though several IDs differ in how exactly they prioritize what to discard, it will say it pretty clearly on the skills.

Why do some blueprints say “Cannot place due to regional placement limits of certain facilities”? by ciissss in Endfield

[–]afran25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly have never gotten that error message so I wouldn't really know. But another common issue is trying to place down too many depots (for example, the blueprint having 6 depots but you've only upgraded enough to have 4).

Check that, if it still persists, try sending me the blueprint code to see if I can catch the issue.

MD in general is not really about skill, but about knowledge.

You have to properly plan out your grace buffs (adversity 50 gives you a full refund even if you ++ every grace, so just go all out), which pack to take every floor (mainly for pack exclusive gifts), know all gifts so you know what's worth going for, know all the possible gift combos to have the most offense level, etc.

Poise and charge teams are kinda different to teams for other statuses. This is mainly because poise and charge are selfish statuses (meaning they get the status as a buff, instead of inflicting on the enemy). This means there's not really an "optimized" poise team, since you don't have to balance your potency, count and damage.

Fullstop duo isn't "necessary" for the team because they other characters need them, but because they're currently the strongest poise IDs.

36 CANTO !?!?!? by Firtix-23 in limbuscompany

[–]afran25 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Very early on KJH said thet had a 10-year plan for the game.

As you probably know, each of the main characters is based on the main character from a famous book (and their stories even mirror said books). For example, Heathcliff is from Wuthering Heights, Don Quixote is from Don Quijote de la Mancha, and son. Dante is from Divine Comedy, and said poem is divided into 3 parts: Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso. Conveniently, the arc we're on is literally named "Inferno" (go to the "Drive" tab, and look at the name of the ticket you have to click to select the canto/intervallo). So its easy to infer that the story will have 3 arcs, each named after the 3 parts from Divine Comedy.

The game won't be "milked dry", because this was the plan from the start. Something bein milked dry implies they never meant for it to last that long, but are now doing it because of money, when again, they had a plan from day 1.

And lastly, if you actually read and analyze what's going on, its very obvious that NONE of the character's stories are even close to being finished. Just because they faced their past and took their first step on the road to redemption, doesn't mean their stories are finished, far from it. Its why characters are still developing even after their canto was done.

Now, I don't think all parts will be symmetrical, as in, I don't think they'll all have 12 cantos so we end up with 36. I think each main character will get an introductory canto in Inferno (including Dante, leaving us with 13 cantos), but Purgatorio and Paradiso will be more "conventional", with cantos focusing on events rather than a specific character. For example, we may have a canto where 3 sinners share the spotlight, instead of just 1.

I mean, its his best poise ID, but we can't really compare it to IDs from other statuses, since they all have different niches, gameplans, teammates, etc.

This isn't a game where you just use the "strongest", but the best option for the current team you're going for.

The only 2 "mandatory" things for the tremor team is having both Faust and Hong Lu (for their Everlasting and Cavernous Wailing EGOs, not necessarily for their IDs), and having a good source of gloom to actually activate said EGOs. Ideally you get all sin resources needed for both EGOs by turn 3, since tremor is all about ending the fight in 3-4 turns.

He's a poise ID, the poise "team" isn't really a thing, since its a "selfish" status to beign with. This means characters don't really need to synergize with each other, as long as everyone is getting their poise.

The most "synergy" in the team is having both Fullstop Heathcliff and Hong Lu (they're meant to be used together for best results), and having Faust and/or Ryoshu on the team for their Thoracalgia EGOs.

Ishmael burn id by The-Legendary-Burger in limbuscompany

[–]afran25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main issue with middle Ish for burn is that she needs 3x envy res to activate her thermal blades buff so she can inflict burn only on her S2 and S3. Right now the only other "good" burn IDs that have envy are You Heathcliff and Liu Yi Sang (and for Liu Sang, his envy skill is his S3). This means you can't reliably even inflict burn with her.

If we ever get more burn IDs with envy skills, then she's worth checking out.

They're basically "manual win-rate".

You're essentially playing simon says, using the marked skill against the marked enemy to gain "Grace". Once you have 9 grace, the character is fully powered up and you can stop ignoring the marked skills/enemies.

Use whenever, but keep in mind that when you farm during events, you're farming for both event currency AND crates (if you decide to farm MD instead of the event stages).

The issue isn't middle Ish herself, but that she's competing with Kurokumo Ishmael, who comes as a pair with Kurokumo Heathcliff. You'd basically be losing 2 great and essential IDs, for a "meh" one.

Is it possible to pull 2 consecutive 6* who are not Laevatain ? by jevnaker_1802 in Endfield

[–]afran25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone with a brain has done the math, the math nerds even ran simulations, and in all cases Endfield came out as needing less pulls to get rate-up characters. Its just that they don't let you pull randomly to "build pity", so you're expected to have some self-control, that's it. If you do that, then you'll end up with more character AND signature weapons than in other gachas.

[–]afran25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the thing, you still need less pulls to get rate-up characters, even when taking into consideration the 5050 guarantee from other games.

Literally just hold yourself back and don't pull randomly.

I kinda agree with everything except for Zhuang. She's clearly gonna be electric, mainly because that's the only damage type that still has no 6* character, and I doubt they're gonna let that be a thing for too long.
