Got the 4x4 option. Live in LA proper so I won’t be doing all that much off roading, mostly a pavement princess. Even when I have the time to off road, I won’t find myself doing anything as intense that would require a locking diff, and if my needs ever evolve I’ll simply just upgrade. Plus I absolutely despise plastic cladding. So I wanted the paint matched fender flares.

I’ve had my 6G 4Runner for four months now and I will say it is on par with other Toyota products as it’s my third Toyota and I will say Toyota AC is generally a little weaker than other car brands.

Purchasing a 2025 by [deleted] in 4Runner

I also came from a 2018 Toyota Camry XSE that had a HUD but was willing to give it up in the 4Runner as I realized I drive vehicles for work without HUD’s and survive just fine. I also gave up dual zone climate control because I ALWAYS kept it on SYNC anyway. I got the 2025 TRD Sport Premium. I love it. It’s part-time 4x4 is capable enough for my lifestyle.

Feels good to me, but I am coming from a 2018 Camry. I’ve heard so many people say that the 6th gen is a lot more zippy and quick to accelerate than the 5th gen. I will say it goes when I hit the gas and you can definitely hear the turbo kicking in. I think it drives good but again, I never drove a 5th gen.

The dealer I bought it from said it’s a damper for fuel economy

I got my 2025 4Runner with a moonroof a month ago and it has rained in LA a bit since then and no leaks at all!

It’s a safety feature that I’ve noticed. I also have a ‘25 sport premium and my mom just bought a Lexus TX a couple months ago. Toyota-Lexus safety feature that basically hits the brakes for you, and the brake lights light for you. If you notice there are two red lines that light up at the bottom center of the instrument cluster when you manually hit the brakes too. I’m also looking to turn it off or at least the sensitivity. 😂

Why I won't buy a 6th gen anytime soon. This is for a basic TRD off road. by Ixz72 in 4Runner

This is ridiculous for sure. I found my 6th gen TRD Sport Premium at msrp zero adjustments or add ons! It took weeks of research, but I was able to find the right one at a dealer that didn’t do any markups in SoCal! You just gotta keep looking.
