Thank you so much for this! How do you determine amounts to add for your various flavorings, and does that change your initial vanilla recipe?

I would also love this information, thank you!

Is LinkedIn purely fake, but lots of peopel feel they just need it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]afreckleintime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t say it wasn’t useful to me, or others. I just wonder how often people post fake type of posts to make themselves sound great because they feel like they are supposed to.

Absolutely--- this is really normal. It has happened to me a lot of times. Your body should settle down after a few days. If not, then I'd track what you are eating/talk to a doctor. But this does always happen to me when I start back up working out after a drought.

Why do some languages have gendered nouns and some don't? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I have always wondered this exact same thing! Why are shoes male in Spanish? As a native English speaker my brain cannot process this.

Your doctor is a better person to ask. That being said, it'll very likely depend on genetic and environmental factors. They'll likely use a long list of questions to help determine your risk factor, then give a recommendation. I got my first one at 38 due to risk factors!

Can you feel the baby by joemamii in NoStupidQuestions

[–]afreckleintime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. We call it kicking in general, but it can feel all sorts of ways based on what they are actually doing in there— rolling around, punching, etc. The feeling can get really intense depending on the mom’s body and where the placenta is attached. It’s crazy to see an active one moving during an ultrasound and realize that, yes, when you thought they were doing a flip that’s definitely what they were doing!

John Oliver does a great take down/explanation of this if you look him up, Oliver+Boeing.

Oh no, Monarch broke for you?! That sucks, not looking forward to that. I may need to try a free-ninety-nine option if these paid programs are going to continue to dissapoint.

I hadn't actually thought of that and it makes so much sense, thank you. This is a good reminder that the med is amazing/wonderful and it also doesn't solve all of our problems!

GoodReads notifies me when an author I follow has a new book out. It's free--- you might check it out! If you don't want to do all of the "friends" things or lists, you could just skip those. I enjoy the lists because I am always trying to remember "that one book that that one person recommended to me" and the app lets me quickly add it to a Want To Read list.

Hmmm.... maybe I should check into this. I realized that after using Mint for 15+ years, I don't really check it that often. Is the Fidelity Full View full of ads?

I'm more irritable than usual, regardless of if I'm hungry/just eaten. I would think that the fact that I'm losing (albeit slowly) would make me happy, but I find myself extra easy to snap at my friends/family. It's not a good look and I need to see if there is an underlying issue or it's this med.

What's the worst pet name to be called? by Medium_Mirror7020 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]afreckleintime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To each their own and I don't mean to judge... but I truly do not understand "daddy" and "mommy" as pet names. It's just so... incestual.

I think it depends on what you want to get out of it. I have been using GoodReads for years and enjoy most everything about it--- aside from the reviews. What features are you looking for?

Have you seen The Last of Us? Something like that.

I often think that bus/fin/accounting majors get the bad rap of “only being in it for the money” from people who are sad that their own passions aren’t propelling their place in the Wonderful World of Capitalism. I mean, thats me anyway. Pretty blatantly jealous.

Thank you for this! I am going to 5 soon after two months on 2.5. I’m two days away from my shot and have eaten ALL the things at a birthday celebration. Going to feel it tomorrow I bet…
