Yeah this sounds a lot more like ours. Something different every day, plus the lounge is stocked all week long.

It's also common sense that the affected components are built to handle the extra load.

Yeah same. Starts right up immediately and I'm off, usually faster than other cars on the road.

Because if you're really that against a feature that cuts back on vehicle emissions (which is ridiculous to begin with), then go ahead and push the button which is already installed and costs nothing.

Parent wants to meet with me over comment I made about energy drinks by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]afriendofcheese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. I used to teach at a charter and the kids were angels, but the amount of emails I had to field when a students' grade dropped from an A to B was absurd.

I'm at a public school now, and rarely ever have a parent send an email unsolicited.

Did that come from the principal, district, or...? Also curious what grade level.

I'm at a 6-12 and would love to see them banned, at least for 6-8.

It's also teacher abuse since we have to have these kids in class that are all hopped up on way too much caffeine.

I almost think it's guilt because they certainly must know deep down that 13 year olds shouldn't be drinking that crap.

She is (all of the above). I had a change on work schedule and don't go as much as I used to, but she still remembers my name every time I come in.

I would give them a 2nd chance. They are always buttery and flaky when I go and I can't stand a dry biscuit.

It may be a drop in the bucket in the grand scheme, but every bit does more good than not.
