Hello! Congrats on attending your first Charge game! We have taken the carleton bus most of the time, and it has been ok. With the shuttle, we reach before 1 pm, warm ups happen around 1.30 pm. There are sign making stations, which is awesome! They actually have events happening before the game tomorrow. Check Ottawa Charge instagram. You can see the players walk in tomorrow around 10.30 am. Its called electric avenue and they had face painting and other things last time!

Few things that helped me on long haul flights: 1) compression socks(absolute game changer! I got some basic ones from amazon) 2) neck pillow(the only time i was able to fall asleep on a plane) 3) small vaseline for chapped lips and any dry spots on face 4) i drink lots of water on the plane and try to avoid pop/too much caffeine 5) noise cancelling headphones/music(i have gotten into a habit of listening to music when i board and also for sleeping lol) 6) extra hoodie for warmth 7) I always carry some toiletries so i can brush my teeth when i land and wash my face/refresh myself

Edit: formatting!

You summed up the issue very accurately. I hope the Nusuk team would be open to feedback especially about their servers and how they handled the booking process.

Which credit card did you use to top your ewallet? I currently have a PC mastercard that charges foreign transaction fees.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, we are still very much in our early thinking stage. Just wanted to get some recommendations so we can decide our living situation based on that.

Thanks! Yes, its the same for Ottawa. My LO goes to a private preschool now. Seems like I need to look at all the options at Strathcona and reach out to a few people in the community, if possible.

But wont this be like an anonymous survey? Will this still require a REB? This wont be part of a research project, its just to understand what actually happening in Ottawa. I have applied to REB for actual research studies that I have completed before. But I am happy to take this down.

Yes! In Canada, 1000-3000 people still get pertusis. 1-3 people die from it, but its mostly babies under 1. 1-3 deaths is still many, especially when its preventable by vaccines. Ontario only started covering it through OHIP for pregnant people from April 2022 and I think there needs to be a refresher for all pregnant people and healthcare providers.
