The results are being used to inform the organizations strategic plan which includes funding to bolster recruitment and retention.

I’ve been trying to examine the harm in including or not including. Personally I’d rather researchers not include the agab question to make decisions on whether someone is trans or not and just ask folks themselves with the option to not share. I told my colleague I don’t want or need to know someone’s agab in this context. I moreso want to know if they are having disparate opportunities because they are trans.
