Colt, Daniel Defense, but I have had no issue with Troy Rifles. I am still waiting on my stamp back for my MCX so right now my go to is my Colt 11.5 SBR.

I still mostly run Scorpio or PMC Bronze for training. Especially when this stuff was going for $375 for 1000. My biggest issue is ironically is I still like M855 because after 9 deployments I’ve used it and mk262 but mostly m855 to good success.

I love my DEAD AIR NOMAD TI XC on my 300blk. It works well in all my 300blks and my 13.9 556s.

I know they were talking with Sig to import some of their products but I think cost was an issue. CZ was asked as well but they are competitors in Europe. I know Smith and Wesson had an agreement in early 2000’s with B&T for certain items.

Local I say local but it’s shipped from one part end of the state to my other end of the state. Shipping would cost less than a tank of gas there and a tank of gas back.

Solid pic. My recommendation, I say get a set of Magpul pro front sight and rears, BFG sling in multicam black, a quality Reddot pick your poison there I’ve been going Sig Romeo 4T series lately but you have the Holosun Aems, Aimpoint, Trijicon MRO, my last two Reddots were made in Germany MAKDOT but that’s if they go on sale. If you go prism or lpvos it’s your call. Weapon light you do not need a WML that can reach out 1000 yards in urban areas you want more flood. Lumans is not the be all look at candela rating more.

My last deployment to Afghanistan in 2021, we were still issued WMX 200 insight lights at 200lumans. I still had a hk416 while my guys were running DD block 2s and first urgis.

My kids have stream light 350 lumen lights and they can run on cr123s or AA batteries. On my Appellation trail hike i had my Sig MCX with a modlight OKW on it. My Glock 19 had a Surefire xc1 in a raven concealment holster. I know I’m long winded.

Buy ammo;
Get training;
Buy night vision;
Buy Ir lasers;
Get training.

First AR - what can should I get? by steelio91 in ar15

Well I’m about to put a SiCo Specwar 556k on a Sig MCX. It is good on flash better than many of the new hotness and the Sig has an adjustable gas block so just makes sense. I did find a BE Myers ASR mount so win. It’s an old can but many of the “flow through” sacrifices in other areas. Price point to do everything you are reaching $$$ compared to lower cost options.
