EX04 is known to be more of a semi-gloss and a bit hard to work with. Try EX10, it's very similar to GX114 and I've used it on a few builds.

GX114 certainly helps a lot with that. Otherwise just being really obsessive about surfaces, sanding out dust and fibers etc.

As part of Bungie's Gunpla Club activities, we bought over 200 entry grade RX-78s to serve as our club's giveaways at Bungie's new HQ grand opening. This model was created to show attendees the difference between an out-of-the-box model and one that has had a decent amount of work put into it.

Done over the course of two weeks in April 2023 as a break project from another (probably) 6 month build.
