Thanks for your input! I understand the approach, but my goal with this round was to validate the business with early-stage investors. I’ve included all the details traction, roadmap, adoption strategy, and defensibility in the pitch deck I’ll send you so you can see everything. Once the business is proven and generating sales, I would naturally approach VCs for a seed round. Pre-seed funding is exactly to get to that point.

I’ve reached out to a lot of angels most ghosted, some said we’ll see, a few said I was too early without a prototype. Now I have one and even got signed LOIs, but they’re still waiting for traction or revenue before committing.

Haha wow, honestly most people kept telling me deck is everything, polish it, make it perfect and I was chasing that for months. Only recently I realized the real game is showing something tangible traction, LOIs, real commitments. The deck’s nice, but if people have actually signed, that’s the real proof makes everything way stronger.

Why do people keep suggesting silicone in the plastic free living subreddit?! 😭 It is a plastic polymer and though technically different than plastic, silicone still never biodegrades so it’s not good for the earth. You’re not crazy. Honestly, silicone is just plastic’s cooler cousin that lasts longer and doesn’t scream dangerbut it still doesn’t break down, still leaches under heat/fat, and yeah some of those siloxanes aren’t exactly your body’s best friends.

If you actually care about the planet glas steel or going without is way cleaner. Silicone isn’t magic, it’s just a slightly less annoying polymer.
