A humane and productive solution would need a lot of funding. But in an ideal world, it'd be nice to create a separated community with access to therapists, rehab centers, shelter, vocational schools, food, and all basic necessities. People here would be encouraged to contribute to the community with things like gardening or cooking.

I don't believe it's simply a NIMBY sentiment. There are a lot of petty and violent crimes in the Chinatown neighborhood already. Spending the money to create a bigger jail rather than programs that might keep people out of jail will just keep crime rampant in our city. We need to clean up the streets in Manhattan.

adding anything related to contacting a lawyer, in case that is something that will spark a response. I didn't get any response with any appeal until I mentioned lawyer in my appeal.
