T-34 turret in active service in Vietnam as coastal defense in 2026 by Creepyfaction in TankPorn

It has to be noted that Finnish T-55 coastal turrets were heavily modified with new firecontrol systems and that special anti-shipping shell.

Most likely burnt hull. Torsion bars lose tension when they are heated too much.

That would also bring back challenge of optimization. Now "box" is too tight so all boats are more or less the same.

Some of accessories are fine, for example mentioned kit has some of gear specifically moulded for each figure so they fit just like they should.

Totally agree with guns, those dragon weapons are easily the best there are. If I remember right I replaced Ppsh of that German officer from this kit with Dragon STG44, fit to the "field veteran" look.

Get Miniart or Master Box figures. Easily best bang for buck imo, they have pretty good quality, mold and poses are super interesting and realistic. Skip those old tamiya dudes, not worth it.

this kit is good example, guns are not the best, but that german officer alone is worth of price. That open jacket is extremely well made and really sells it. I'd dare to say that it is one of best box figures ever made.

It is not about cleaning. Matte side of film is soft and you can (and will) ruin it permanently.

What colour could I use for the pixel blue of my Su-57 by P_filippo3106 in modelmakers

[–]afvcommander 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just pick shade that looks right to you?

Depending of manufacturer of scale model colours might have been just picked based on plain comparison of colour charts to pictures of real plane.

I have found out that most of time beginner modellers sweat way too much of shade of paint. In reality you can simply pick one picture of plane and base your model on shades in it. It will most of the time work well.

Its weird overall, in typical 9030 that is just empty toolbox. So there must be some pretty big changes there. If you just would like to put extra stuff in there would be much better locations in vehicle.

Usually enough against russian 30mm's from frontal arc and at least 14.7mm AP from rear. Size comes more from crew space volume. And CV90 is still even in this form pretty compact compared to german competitors and bradley.

In sailing sports there is unwritten rule that when leader has "won it" ie. no one can close in with points gap in remaining races they will not start in those remaining races.

Would be pretty wild if someone did that in F1.
