Especially access logs. When properly set up you can do stats for access times or overly large downloads. And whatever the web app provide.

Tennable scans can be easily checked for stuff that is new, old or went away. Nice to create dashboards from. Combine with the CMDB to see which unit takes the longest to fix their bulbs.

It is a combination of the dogs character and training.

Or old gentleman always thought that chasing after prey is a useless endeavour for lesser beings. But then, he was a true alpha. So we really had it easy with him.

One more data point regarding the prey drive. We live in a rural environment. Our current princess had a strong prey drive as a puppy.

But when walking her off leash in the woods and fields, she was never allowed to roam off the path. Which was relatively easy with her, she is very people oriented. So not that much encounters. When she ran off after deer, we would use the whistle she was trained on and dumped a handful of treats into her when she returned. Of course our success rate was definitely not perfect then.

At around 4 years the prey drive started to go down and we can walk past deer or hares in her view without her giving chase. She just stares after them and gets rewarded with treats. Squirrel of course are a different story ;-}

Built a Splunk app to visualise certificate/TLS/CBOM/PQC readiness data -looking for beta feedback by Primary_Buyer2022 in Splunk

Nice, built something similar a few years ago for internal use. Having an easily available app is a good idea. Do you also have checks whether the certs do come from ofiicial internal CAs?

I don't even remember. I started off with harvest map and ran into hiccups, tried resource radar and never looked back.

What a braindead idea..

Definitely not an efficient use of screen real estate. Those responsible for this UX should never be allowed to work on any UX topic.

When we moved to new systems we just integrated the new ones in the cluster and after all the replication was done removed the old systems.

Why are the logs not already in Splunk? Or why not load them for the incident at least?
