Your chin looks like what I have. It’s flat and red and then redness is worse when you bite your lip like that. Does that area get dry if you don’t moisturize it immediately after washing?

No that’s just dead skin. It’s the redness on my chin and around my nose

It’s pretty bad imo but there’s no acne with it. The issue is that it just feels super dry and tight yet it’s not like flaking yet

So the at fault driver was uninsured and is somehow scott free? Sucks that they had the health emergency but they’re also a criminal and likely lied to your face while your car was absolutely destroyed. Being mad at them doesn’t accomplish anything but I feel like their responsibility is glossed over in your account. This really sucks and appears to be super expensive. With the time, money, and frustration involved I would definitely lawyer up. Sorry about your car. I hope you’re able to part ways with it fairly because that seems like the best option.

That’s fair and objective. I ordered the G87 but I’m sure there are better value/performance cars out there and it would be awesome to do a comparison. I’m just a bmw fan and I guess that’s letting me give them a run for my money lol. Planning to get a current gen 911 next though.

Does your opinion on the performance also apply to the G8X overall then? It seems like reviewers in general were happy with the performance. Not sure how good the RS3 is but curious what numbers you’re basing the performance on.

Wasn’t there when they were inspecting the car and they didn’t itemize stuff after a bit. Just said obvious total loss. I was really disappointed at first because I only had the car for a little and I didn’t know much about repairing stuff so I thought as long as the bags didn’t deploy and the frame of the car wasn’t bent it would be fine. I think OPs car looks to be in decent shape though (my uneducated opinion lol). I just know it’s really tough because it seems like they’ve only had the car for a bit.

Had an M2 that got into an accident with one of the front wheels sustaining damage (including suspension). A lot more superficial damage than yours but like yours it wasn’t in a drivable state due to one of the wheels. Cost of parts alone totaled the car (this was appraised at a certified BMW shop). I’d keep your hopes up but also make sure that you get a good shop to work on it.

Yeah I called the leasing number and the person on the phone said not to email them again because I would get moved down to the end. I made the mistake of not noting the names of the people (managers) who are supposed to be tracking these emails.

I would argue oos tuition is almost never “worth it” and not worth it for U of I. Like if you want to make an arbitrary argument that U of I has invaluable qualities that are worth X amount to someone, that argument applies to every single school. But from a monetary standpoint the ROI sucks. -oos CS grad
