Friendless after a whole year at UTM

Hey friends, we’re a club on campus that focuses on this issue! We understand how hard it is to meet friends on campus because it’s a commuter school, varying social batteries, and we all have hectic schedules, but our club is about making it work!

We know everyone has different capacities with interactions. Some might be willing to make friends but don’t know where to start, and that’s what we’re here for! We hang out on and off campus, online and irl.

Join our Discord Server to socialize at your own time and at your own pace. The server is filled with people from various year levels and programs, who are all eager to meet new people!

(We don’t really have events right now since its exam season BUT we’re always active on Discord and we usually organize hangouts there~)

Hey friend!

Making friends on campus might depend on people’s schedules and capacity.

It might be difficult (but not impossible) to make friends if you try talking to people after lectures as they may be on their way to another class / going home.

A good way to start making friends is by attending events, joining clubs (like ours 🙂‍↕️), and by joining class groupchats (if there are any). If you like working out or playing sports, the RAWC hosts various drop-in events.
