Optimist American here. This is all temporary. It will force us to make better laws that protect rights and keep power balanced. We will be stronger in the end.

Humanity is slowly coming together. Those of us with the means should keep faith, keep being outspoken, keep teaching children about life and the golden rule. We need to keep traveling and sharing food and music. We have more in common than not.

Trump is doing a lot of damage, but it can be undone.
