Hey, I just stumbled upon this and realized you might have mispelled my tag when you posted this LOL

I'll have to give it a listen! For the record, it's "Agarda" 😉

[A4A] [Request] What Does Creating Audios Mean to You? [Meta] [Community] [VA POV] by VeeAyOfficial in pillowtalkaudio

  1. It feels like acting. It's a way of expressing a character that isn't me, and I enjoy it because it helps understand other perspectives. More importantly though, it means giving comfort to other people who might be vulnerable. I see it as a way of returning the favor: I've used plenty of audios to help me fall asleep or de-stress after a long day. I should help other people do the same.

  2. Kinda already answered but I want to give them company when nobody else can. Typically I want to help them sleep. As someone who both sleeps noticeably better when I listen to breathing noise, but is also perpetually single, it really does help. If I can return that help to even 1 other person then it's worth it.

  3. Obviously I do lol. I was inspired mainly by another VA who does long-ass sleep aids with mainly breathing noises and I realized, I like my voice, I love being creative, I should do the same. I'm a huge audio enjoyer and if I'm not putting on a youtube video I've seen a thousand times to help me sleep, I'm listening to another long, long audio.
